How to Play in SMP
Well, make sure you aren't using multiverse, first of all. If you are, you have to use only that one world that you have been given. The server SHOULD automatically move the nether world into a folder called world_nether. If it doesn't, I think you choose the folder DIM-1 from the world folder, (In this case, Cube Inc), and move it into the server renamed world_nether. NOTE: If your server level is named something else like Custom map, the nether file MUST be called Custom map_nether. Hope this helps!

*You may not break blocks with your hands. (Only exception is Chapter 2 during the obsidian breaking.)
*Play on Peaceful through the game until areas where you are told to change difficulty.
*Use the Official Texture Pack. Don't be a fucking moron and use your own. It doesn't make you a rebel... It only makes the map REALLY ugly.
*Have fun!
*Explore your environment. It make help you discover the answer to the puzzle.
*Read every sign. You do not want to miss parts of the story.

Control, Aaron. That is what He wanted, and you gave it to him. Now, it is obvious you did not purposely do this, but the fact you are the reason is quite dangerous to your reputation. We cannot say that your reputation was very high in the first place anyhow. Sadly, we have other things to attend to.
Aaron, you are probably clueless of what is really happening. You are just aimlessly walking around searching for answers, but you won't find anything that way. You need to get your priorities straight, and finally discover what you are really here for. It has been six years since you went into cryosleep. After four years you were taken from the Safe Room, and placed in the CUBE Inc. West Cryosleep Center due to protocol.
Things are happening Aaron, and you will never be able to explain them if you do not act and attempt to end whatever these things are causing. Trust us Aaron. You are really the only hope left. When you awaken you will not be prepared, but in time, you will be more ready than you have ever been.
Do us a favor, and keep this promise to us.
Make the world a better place. Make it what we want it to be. But you can't do this in your current state, so you must get up. You must stop living in your dreamworld, and finally come back to reality.
Aaron, wake up.

I just realized something. I haven't released that much regarding CUBE Inc. 2. Yes, there is a picture every now and then, but I haven't really taken the time to talk about the sequel. I can tell you one thing, its gonna be a lot different than its predecessor.
The three pictures below were taken about a month into the creation of the map. Before the texture pack, total devotion, and most importantly, before Incetents joined the crew!




Things have changed a LOT since then. I can't even begin to tell you how far this map is coming along. There is one thing to note though. Its probably only about 50-60 % near completion. I know that sounds small, but thats because the past few months have made it very, very difficult to work on the map. Not only did my internet decide to quit working, but school was starting and I needed to get myself situated in a position where I knew I could keep a good, steady pace. That is all behind us now!
(Except for my geometry class. That needs work.)
I'm so excited to release this map, and trust me, the release will be awesome. That probably makes no sense, but just trust me here!



Puzzles in this map are sort of taking a different turn then they did in CUBE Inc. 1. First thing is first, thanks to Incetents, redstone can be taken to the extreme! This time around the puzzle will get a whole lot more complex and fun. Another thing is how they are done. The idea in this map sort of goes to more of a, manipulate your environment to make the puzzle area completable, type of puzzle. Its not trail and error, but instead, a way to make the puzzles more accessible, and hopefully more fun for everyone.
There is one huge thing that I love about this map! It doesn't take place in an underground facility the entire time. I can't say anymore than that, but I know, for sure, that you guys will enjoy how that works out.



The next thing I love about this map is probably the story. You see, the first CUBE Inc. was just a trail to see how my map making skills worked. I took a dream I had once, fit it into the Minecraft universe, and created the story. After release I noticed something. Everyone called it a Portal ripoff. Not everyone, but almost every reviewer gave me a bad mark for that. And you know the worst thing, its true! So when I started CUBE Inc. 2 I did something. I created a more in-depth story, and made sure it left the Portal feeling, but still kept the CUBE Inc. feeling.
The story in this map is a lot less complex than CUBE Inc... wait... thats not true. Its more complex actually. There is one big difference though. The story has been planned out completely, and this is a big difference than in CUBE Inc. because in CUBE Inc. 1 I just made the map as I thought it up. This made a confusing and strange storyline that kept people scratching their heads in a BAD way.



The story in CUBE Inc. 1 was meant to set up for a sequel. The problem was that I never actually never knew where the story would go after CUBE Inc.
I threw tons of ideas around. I had one where Aaron is stuck inside of a dream and your job is to travel through Aaron's mind and figure a way out. Of course there was a hindrance always at your tail that you couldn't figure it out. That idea was scrapped pretty quickly. Well, after that failure I started to think if the CUBE Inc. series was a trilogy. That was when the story really started to flow to my brain. Everything started to flow together. Now there is a text file on my computer holding a 5,000+ timeline for the series. I won't say anymore, but the story will make much more sense when you play the sequel. You will finally understand some things that just made you scratch your head to the point of bleeding when you beat the first one.



Now the biggest thing to know is that the CUBE Inc. series isn't actually about CUBE Inc. (Stupid huh?)
Its about Aaron. That probably doesn't make sense at the moment, but it will. Aaron is an iconic character to the series other than being a protagonist. And then there is the guy testing you. You will learn more about him in CUBE Inc. 2. Thats all I'm gonna say.
CUBE Inc. 2 will be long. There is one thing that pisses me off about this. Reviewers complain that the length of the first map was too long. I find this incredibly stupid to say if you are going to bash maps that are TOO SHORT! I'm not trying to rage here, but don't downgrade a maps score because its not in that little center of playtime you would like to spend on each map. Here is a good idea if that happens. Take a break. Simple as that. Come back to play it later. [RAGE OVER]

I think this pretty much wraps up what I've been holding in for the past few months. Don't expect too many updates until release though. Whenever the release is...
I can tell you one thing. It will be early 2012!

Great map! I'm making a video for it, and I've been going for slightly over 45 mins. It's a really good map, I hate the ones I finish in 10 mins. Although, I'd suggest posting the rules in the main place cause I didn't read until after I broke a couple XD. Then, another thing, I was in the caves and generally going straight, and I got to this one part where I dropped off dirt into an area that I couldn't get back up from, so I explored around and I think the only way out was the way I came in. I had to destroy some dirt/gravel to get out. But anyway, again, great map, I give it a 5 out of 5. . And, if you would like to watch the video, my YouTube is here

I will probably release an update that fixes a few things. The problems are unnoticeable, but when they are fixed the map will make a bit more sense. Most of these problems are in the first chapter because that was the beginning of the first map I had ever made, so the puzzles sucked and there were a lot of unfixed errors.
Funny fact! I made the first chapter before I made the prologue. I created the prologue about halfway through the creation of this map.
