(Re: px.class, You can install with optimine/optifog if you install zipline first. You will not get the rope wobble effect though...)

I am waiting to work on this until at least a few weeks after Minecon.

Support:

You can check ModLoader.txt to verify, but if your game crashes the very first time there is a rope block placed in the world, then you installed it wrong and the error was this:

Error:
java.lang.IllegalAccessError: tried to access method bt.<init>(DDD)V from class MyVec3D

(This means you didn't put everything into minecraft.jar)

I had an idea for an item to use for rappelling, and have been teaching myself java, and modding (I was already working on Java, but modding makes a good useful exercise). I bet your zipline code would be a good jumping off point for it.
