Okay, a GeruDoku themed Catacomb Snatch should be finished in the next minutes. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to upload the game though, since Mojang hasn't decided on a license for their source code yet.
But I'll definitely post some screenshots soon. ;)

I actually did the DM hammer texture and tweaked the tools. Gonna go downstairs and post them.

I know, there aren't that many differences to the original games yet, but that's going to change during the next days.

If Mojang gives a proper license for the code, I'm going to upload a build. Until then, sorry guys, but I don't want to be the bad guy, who's breaking their rules. :(

Here a list of changes I did to the original code and textures:
- Fixed harvesters, which crashed the game before, when dropping all of their stuff
- Corrected the resource counter. It gave points to the opponent instead of the player.
- Added a nice, little tutorial
- Modified the buttons, floor, sand and rails textures

I was thinking of putting gerudoku textures in a terraria texture pack, but it would take a long time because they don't use sprite sheets.

I'm trying to make the background music loop, but for some inexplicable reason the SoundSystem's playing method returns false for the backgroundMusic... So my looped Thread thinks that the music isn't playing anymore and begins playing a new randomly picked song - EVERY DAMN SECOND!
This stuff is making me crazy, I think I'm going to take a break for now...

I'm not going to do a terraria texture pack with these textures because this, those are the files in a terraria texture pack, if you look down at the bottom it says "299 files".

I don't know... I'm going to have two written exams in the next days - maths and computer science - and I don't want to fail, so I'm mostly busy learning and repeating stuff from the last few years of school.
Please be patient. When my exams are over, I'll have more time and probably continue working on the pack.

Hey Emkay443 Joki here again. :D
I have another suggestion. :)
If you have time you should make a texture for the hunger bar as well.
It looks too defaulty at this moment (because it IS the default hunger bar texture :P ).
So if you have time you should make a texture for the hunger bar. ;)

Oh god, maths (adv. course, year 13) is a complete brainfuck!
Derivations of complex exponential functions, logarithms, roots, all of them together on a giant fraction line, integrals, reverse derivations...
I think my brain is going to explode in 3, 2, 1d981qsak98z127fa786sj12312767asdgsdq7w6e87162937612agsdgb29asd

My maths exam is over... It was horrible. I think I failed on that one.
But never mind, now I got some free time until my next exam (computer science), so here's a little update on my Catacomb Snatch bugfix:
Since Mojang didn't comment on the game's sourcecode's license and the Mojam is over, I decided to provide a download link to my own bugfixed version of the game.
I hope that's okay with Mojang, if not, I will of course remove the download link immediately.

I was able to fix a few bugs and implement some new features:

- Fixed harvester crash bug (harvesters used to crash the game when destroyed)
- Fixed broken win conditions (points go to you instead of your opponent when you collect the resource)
- Fixed background music (will loop now)
- Fixed multiplayer lag (there's a slight input lag, but, at least, multiplayer is playable now...)

- Added key combinations for toggling background music and sounds (by pressing CTRL-S and CTRL-M)
- Hid the FPS counter by default (can be re-enabled by pressing CTRL-F)
- Added a cheat mode, which will make you invincible and reduce all costs to zero (CTRL-F12, single player mode only)
- Added a coin counter beneath the harvesters, which will show how much they collected (thanks to UberSoft Technologies for the idea)
- Added a pause mode (P or pause key, single player mode only)
- Added a level loader (after you beat a level, the next one will start immediately - thanks to Dittiox)
- Added a tutorial, which can be accessed in the main menu
- Added (some) GeruDoku textures
- The game will now be scaled to 512x384, when the screen's resolution is at or below 1024x768

The game works on both single- and multiplayer, but the single player version lacks an AI, so there's theoretically no way to lose.
It will be implemented when I feel like.

Here are some screenshots (click for the originals):

Don't forget to update your Java Runtime Environment to version 7, or otherwise you might face some bugs or missing sounds: http://www.oracle.co...ad-1501631.html

Download here: http://www.mediafire...4arg3cubh95gx8a

I didn't steal any source code, I only took some ideas from here and there, but all changes I did to Mojang's original source code are really done by myself, with the exception of Dittiox' idea for the custom level loader, who posted his code publicly in another thread.

A new version of my GeruDoku-themed Catacomb Snatch is out!

- Added an info-screen (Minecraft-like, F3)
- Screenshots can be now created with F2, which will then be placed on the user's desktop
- The game will auto-pause when de-focused (single player only)
