I have 2 pressure plate set up to a latch so I can get my doors closed. The only problem is they do not stay closed.
Why? Its simple. Pressure plates only give a charge for like, 3 seconds? Regardless, it is a timed charged and I need some way to make it stable, and then also have a way to turn the charge off.
How do I make an RS-NOR latch? I looked at the wiki but all the pictures showing the schematics are broke :/
here you go
wire the pressure plate up to either block. that is now the input, anything wired to the other block is the output, and the redstone in the circuit that leads to the same block as your input is your output (if that makes any sense. maybe it would be simpler to say that your input and output end at the same block?)
EDIT: shablaow, ninja'd! also, i totally forgot that he needed to close the door when the button was pressed, so mine is wrong, anyway.

Ideas?
try using one button and one pressure plate...
hope this helps!

Its a really sweet setup, the doors close behind you. I setup a pulser so the lights flicker. Now need to think of some other stuff. Cheers!
