New update! I made some nice Improvements to a few common textures - a nice new bed with a rough wool blanket, new wool blocks, new grass texture, and an experimental candle-style torch.
I plan on the next update, v20, to be the 'finished' version of the pack. I'm going to do some serious work and try to get it 'done' before summer. For those of you who were waiting on a customizer, please wait until then. Not only do I not have many alternate textures, I also don't want to set up a customizer with the current textures since I'm going to be making radical changes for v20. Thanks for using my pack.
Please tell people about my pack. Also, check out my YouTube channel if you haven't before: TobiwanK3nobi

Hi! My name is Tobiah, a.k.a. TobiwanK3nobi, and I've labored excessively to make Inspiration a contender among texture packs.
Inspiration is a texture pack designed for people who like to build massive and realistic structures. The primary goal for this pack is to provide textures which are perfectly seamless and rich in color and detail so that your architecture looks as lovely as you hoped it could. I've thrown all my creativity into this so I hope you like it.
Completed so far:
Terrain
Items
Particles
Environment(custom water, fire, rain, snow, etc.)
GUI
Misc Folder
Wildgrass compatible
Many mobs
To do:
The rest of the mobs
Character armor models
Wall art
Facts
I've devoted approximately 1100 hours of work to the creation of this pack over the course of about seven months.
The pack is free, to use, but if you would like to make sure I receive compensation for my labor of love, please spread the word about my YouTube channel or this texture pack. Tell all your friends, please!
I have a YouTube channel. Check it out for interesting architecture, let's plays of Minecraft and various other games(in the future), and updates and art videos(mob skinning) relating to the texture pack.TobiwanK3nobi
I had very little prior experience in digital art before I started this pack. I learned by scrutinizing the excellent works of Doku, Glimmar, and John Smith.
I use Photoshop CS5.

New netherbrick, made it default coloration so that default users see closer to what you see.
New lapis block
New potion item icons
Halved the particles sheet resolution to maybe make my pack easier on weaker computers.
v11

Brightened and desaturated planks some more.
I THINK that's all. Don't worry, if the texture you have a problem with wasn't changed, be sure that I'll get to it in the future. Working hard on getting the customizer worked out too(it requires a lot of tedious and time-consuming texture selection, isolation, and uploading).
v7
Made lots of textures brighter to make the pack easier on the eyes.
New wood planks again. Pretty sure I've found the right ones.
New glass
I'll get back to you. See, I stayed up all night to try and get the spider done. I failed. And it's about eight hours past my bedtime so I can't really think of what else I changed.
v6
New creeper skin! Very creepy.
New wood planks - much improved
New map texture and map symbols
That's all... I think.

Wildgrass compatibility restored!
New iron bindings(again) on everything that has them
New iron door, with viewport/slit as requested by a few people
New gargoyle jack-o-lantern, as requested by dist7action
New wool textures, hopefully a happy medium between pixel art and decorative uses
New lapis block - not very good, just a temp fix
No new mobs. Water took up too much time.
v4
New zombie texture! Check out the video below to see a time lapse of me drawing it.
New iron braces on everything that has them - chests, repeaters, etc. - everything but iron door, which I didn't have time to do. I'll get it synchronized next update.
New netherrack, apparently. It was actually just a test texture, but it ended up in the release. Oops. Oh well, if many like it, it can stay.
That's all I guess. Just wanted to get that zombie texture out there.

This means I'm not allowing distribution of modified or 'remixed' versions of the pack or of the individual textures unless you get permission from me first, and even then I'm asking that you give proper credit in your original post, along with a link back to this thread. If you use any of my textures in a pack you upload for others on this forum, and you haven't first asked and received permission or given due credit, you are breaking the forum rules and the law. Sorry. If you're serious about using my textures in a pack, just message me.
Also, it is strictly forbidden to include any of my textures in your pack if you plan on making money from it, whether by asking for donations or by making use of 'adf.ly' or any other money-making method.
This license doesn't forbid redistribution of the unmodified pack, but I would like to ask that no one do that, regardless. I've put far too much work into this to let it be handed out willy-nilly on random websites around the internet. I want this thread and the Planet Minecraft post to be the only place this pack is available for download.
By downloading this texture pack from any of the provided links, you acknowledge that you agree to these conditions. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????
The BEST pack there is, IMO. DLing now! Also, could you release the temple world (not just the seed)? I asked on the video, but it would be more official here.

Thanks! Yeah I'll try to get that out asap. Wait - how do I go about it? Do I just compile my save as a .zip and host on mediafire or what?
I decided to download this pack before I put up a comment, Give it a sort of test run and get a feel for some things and how things look.
1. The way that you have done the colors and designs in each of the textures is nicly done, they are in perfect contrast. Everything is balenced an looks very nice.
2. Its your own designs and I love that tired of seeing too many tex packs with the same/similar style of ores, tools, amour, ect... You have taken your time and it shows very nice and I commend you sir.
3. I see that you are going to continue to finish up the mobs so I will not say anything bad about them since they are not done , but the nether mobs are amazing my friend most people do not take the time that you have and it looks very nice.
4. The animation of fire, water, rain, lava, ect are all very nicly done, I will continue to use this over Doku, just due to the simple creativness and hard work put into this (Doku is very good to, to anyone offended by that post)
Other than that everything is very good, words can not describe Good work and keep it up my friend!!!!
Great Job! Most good packs out their are a little too dark for me but this is a great pack and it looks pretty bright I love it! Thank you for devoting so many hours of your time to make this for the community!
Pressing download in about 3 seconds can not wait to test it in game!
i really like all the environment items but u lost me when i seen the monsters in the nether everything is exceptional but i don't like the nether, great job though.
EDIT: i downloaded it put it in my texture pack folder (zip form) it didn't work
If my posts are funny and or helped you click the little icon in the bottom right hand corner. :)
When do you predict the armor will be finished? I'd rather wait until it's done, but I must say that this is one of the greatest texture packs ever. And it'll be better when the armor is done.
"Young person, since the Presbyterian Church does. They also can't teach you certainly more knowledge. They are just a flock of to fish for fame its person. Even act as rivals with the senate." -Speaker D in Star war The third gathers The backstroke of the west.

Wow, everyone is being very supportive! I really appreciate all the constructive criticism. The fact that you plan on using it over Dokucraft is a huge compliment to me. Doku's works - along with Glimmar's, John Smith's, and many others - have been a big inspiration to me throughout the creation process. I referred to their packs often to see what I should and shouldn't do. So thanks - to them and you. To even be compared to them is an honor.
When do you predict the armor will be finished? I'd rather wait until it's done, but I must say that this is one of the greatest texture packs ever. And it'll be better when the armor is done.
I'll try to get the armor done within a month. No promises though. Mobs come first, and I've got a YouTube channel to run.
Edit: if you want an idea of what the armors will look like, just check out the armor items. I'll be modeling the suits after those.
I really like this pack and plan to use it frequently. You've got a truly nice style going on; it's awesome to see a unique flair that doesn't deviate outlandishly from the original.
i really like all the environment items but u lost me when i seen the monsters in the nether everything is exceptional but i don't like the nether, great job though.

And you selected the pack in the Mods and Texture Packs menu? It's working for everyone else.
