NOW UPDATED FOR 1.1

5 February, updated to version 15. Changes include a completely new GUI, a re-worked redstone system, and new alchemy stand and furnace. Also, my pack now has certain ANIMATED TEXTURES which can only be seen while using MCPatcher. These include the brewing stand, all the redstone stuff, the furnace, and a few others I think. Many more will be added in later updates. FYI, MCPatcher and Optifine are compatible, you just have to disable MCPatcher's *HD Textures* and *HD Fonts* check-boxes to get them to run together. You don't have to install MCPatcher if you don't want to. The animated textures will just be replaced with static textures if you don't use MCPatcher. Everything will work fine though.

Thanks for sticking with me through development, all of my staunch supporters. You guys are a big motivation for me to continue.

Please tell people about my pack! Also, check out my YouTube channel if you haven't before: TobiwanK3nobi

Hi! My name is Tobiah, a.k.a. TobiwanK3nobi, and I've labored excessively to make Inspiration a contender among texture packs.

Inspiration is a texture pack designed for people who like to build massive and realistic structures. The goal for this pack is to provide textures which are perfectly seamless and rich in color and detail so that your architecture looks as lovely as you hoped it could. I've thrown all my creativity into this so I hope you like it.

Completed so far:
Terrain
Items
Particles
Environment(custom water, fire, rain, snow, etc.)
GUI
Misc Folder
Wildgrass compatible
Many mobs

To do:
The rest of the mobs
Character armor models
Wall art

Facts
  • I've devoted approximately 1000 hours of work to the creation of this pack over the course of about seven months.
  • The pack is free to use. If you would like to make sure I receive compensation for my labor of love, please spread the word about my YouTube channel or this texture pack. Tell all your friends, please!
  • I have a YouTube channel. Check it out for interesting architecture, let's plays of Minecraft and various other games(in the future), and updates and art videos(mob skinning) relating to the texture pack.TobiwanK3nobi
  • I had very little prior experience in digital art before I started this pack. I learned by scrutinizing the excellent works of Doku, Glimmar, and John Smith.
  • I use Photoshop CS5.

Using the primary link through Planet Minecraft helps increase the popularity, and thus the visibility, of my pack there. Thanks for your support! If you would really like to help me out, tell people about my pack! It's hard to spread the word about it when the only way people can find it is when it's on the first page of the texture packs subforum, which is rare.

Primary(v15): Download at Planet Minecraft

Alternate(v15): Mediafire(through AdF.ly)

The BEST pack there is, IMO. DLing now! Also, could you release the temple world (not just the seed)? I asked on the video, but it would be more official here.

Thanks! Yeah I'll try to get that out asap. Wait - how do I go about it? Do I just compile my save as a .zip and host on mediafire or what?

I decided to download this pack before I put up a comment, Give it a sort of test run and get a feel for some things and how things look.

1. The way that you have done the colors and designs in each of the textures is nicly done, they are in perfect contrast. Everything is balenced an looks very nice.

2. Its your own designs and I love that tired of seeing too many tex packs with the same/similar style of ores, tools, amour, ect... You have taken your time and it shows very nice and I commend you sir.

3. I see that you are going to continue to finish up the mobs so I will not say anything bad about them since they are not done :P, but the nether mobs are amazing my friend most people do not take the time that you have and it looks very nice.

4. The animation of fire, water, rain, lava, ect are all very nicly done, I will continue to use this over Doku, just due to the simple creativness and hard work put into this (Doku is very good to, to anyone offended by that post)

Other than that everything is very good, words can not describe :) Good work and keep it up my friend!!!!

When do you predict the armor will be finished? I'd rather wait until it's done, but I must say that this is one of the greatest texture packs ever. And it'll be better when the armor is done.

Wow, everyone is being very supportive! I really appreciate all the constructive criticism. The fact that you plan on using it over Dokucraft is a huge compliment to me. Doku's works - along with Glimmar's, John Smith's, and many others - have been a big inspiration to me throughout the creation process. I referred to their packs often to see what I should and shouldn't do. So thanks - to them and you. To even be compared to them is an honor.

I'll try to get the armor done within a month. No promises though. Mobs come first, and I've got a YouTube channel to run.

Edit: if you want an idea of what the armors will look like, just check out the armor items. I'll be modeling the suits after those.

I really like this pack and plan to use it frequently. You've got a truly nice style going on; it's awesome to see a unique flair that doesn't deviate outlandishly from the original.

And you selected the pack in the Mods and Texture Packs menu? It's working for everyone else.

Those nether mobs... Holy :Pig:
They're amazing, but pretty high-res for a 32x pack.
