HarvestCraft

A mod that adds over 30 new crops, berry bushes, fruit trees, salt ore, almost 200 new foods, more fishing options, a butter churn, a quern, and so much more!

Block IDs: 165, 166, 168, 169, 170, 189, 190, 191, 215, 216, 217

Item IDs: 5000-6100ish

Simple HarvestCraft
This mod increases the amount of farm-able crops by six, a new type of wild spawning berry bush, two new types of trees that bear fruit or food products, and over a dozen new foods!
Other Mod Compatibility: This mod is meant to be used by folks who think HarvestCraft has too much stuff or wants a farming mod closer to vanilla Minecraft. DO NOT MIX HarvestCraft and Simple HarvestCraft.

Block IDs: 166, 189, 190, 191

Item IDs: 5000-5050ish

HearthCraft (Wood, Stone, and Cloth)

Despite being three mods, they fill the same function for different materials. These mods add over 300 new individual blocks of all colors and textures including colored wood, fences, stairs, textured wood (and colored versions), paver blocks, colored stone, cobblestone, bricks, sandstone, glass, colored cloth carpets, half-slabs, and stairs, and so much more!

Special Requirements: mDiyo's 4096 Block ID Fix (see my website for correct version)

Block IDs: 2500 - 2577/2578-2592/2645-2671

Item IDs: None

EarthCraft
This mod adds all new ores (from tin to mithril), tools, armors, colored smoothstone in the world, new colored stone blocks, bricks, glass, pavers, and more. Also includes 15 new gems to compliment lapis lazuli as dyes and colored stone tools of all 16 colors. NOW FORGE ORE DICTIONARY COMPATIBLE!

Block IDs: 167, 206, 207, 208, 209, 211, 212

Item IDs: 5500ish - 5800ish

DesertCraft
This mod adds sixteen new plants that spawn on sand, including one that drops fruit and seeds (and thus is farm-able). Also includes cactus, sandstone, and glass steel tools (and a glasssteel 'glass' block that is explosion proof). With this mod you can now make every wooden plank, stick, and stone/cobblestone based item with a mixture of those (or just of), cactus blocks, cactus sticks, and sandstone blocks (this includes using cactus sticks to make normal tools)!

Block IDs: 192, 203, 204

Item IDs: 4960-4994

WaxCraft - No longer supported (rolled into HarvestCraft as of 1.2.4)
This mod gives you options to find wax (candleberry bushes which are farm-able and candlenut trees) and uses for wax, including hardened leather armor. This mod will soon become obsolete and included with HarvestCraft.

Block IDs: 199, 200, 201, 202
Item IDs: 4940 - 4953

ClothCraft - No longer supported (rolled into HarvestCraft as of 1.2.4)
This mod focuses on wild cotton plants (that are farm-able if you find the seeds) that allow easy access to string, allowing you to make cloth armor and carpet blocks. This mod will soon become obsolete and included with HarvestCraft.
Block IDs: 196, 197, 198
Item IDs: 4920 - 4933

Weee! Flowers
This simple mod adds in fourteen naturally spawning flowers that can be used directly as dye for wool. Easy but pretty! You can now turn the flowers into dye using water in bottles and red stone. You can also find flower seeds (or make them) and farm flowers to your heart's content!
Block IDs: 205, 214
Item IDs: 4850 - 4865

BoneCraft
This mod adds in bone armor, bone tools, and allows you to use bones to make every stick based item in the game.
Block IDs: None
Item IDs: 4900 - 4920ish

Mini Mods
Get all the Seeds!
This is a super simple mod that allows pumpkin seeds and melon seeds to drop along side wheat seeds from Tall Grass. This mod is included in HarvestCraft and Simple HarvestCraft.

Simple Recipes!

Sapling (normal, pine, birch, jungle) = Stick

Bone + Coal/Charcoal = 4 Torches
9 Gravel = 1 Flint
Smelt Sandstone = 4 Glass
Smelt Rotten Flesh = Leather

All my mods require ModLoader and Minecraft Forge.

Posted Image

  • Download mod requirements above
  • Download mods and most current /pam/ folder (for your mod version) from my website
  • Delete your Meta-INF folder from your Minecraft JAR
  • Install mod requirements as directed in their own threads
  • Drag any of my mods' ZIP files you downloaded into your /.minecraft/mods folder
  • Finally drag the /pam/ folder (not the Pam ZIP file) into one of my mod's ZIP files (it doesn't matter which one).
  • Note: Never have multiple /pam/ folders in different mod ZIP files. Always put and replace the /pam/ folder in the same ZIP file.

I enter the game and all I get is a black screen!

You either need to delete your Meta-INF folder from your Minecraft JAR or if that doesn't help, get me a ModLoader or .bat login error log.

I have white textures for your fruits/crops/etc or your fruits/crops/etc have weird or missing textures!

Please remove your current /pam/ folder in the mod's ZIP file by deleting it, re-download a new /pam/ folder (the latest for your mod version), and drag this new /pam/ folder into that same mod's ZIP file. If this does not help, check if you are using Optifine. If so, please make sure to use the Minecraft Forge version of Optifine.

I use ID Resolver and now I can plant TNT instead of your crops!

Always make sure to put my mods as the highest priority when using ID Resolver in order to avoid weird Block/Item ID issues like this.

Your crops don't drop any seeds, only crops!

All my HarvestCraft and Weee! Flower crops are supposed to only drop their crop item. You can then place that item (or two in case of flowers) to receive a seed (or two seeds for flowers). This even happens as soon as you plant the crop (although you only get one crop instead of 2-4) and is intended. This does NOT apply to ClothCraft or WaxCraft crops.

Your trees do not drop any saplings!

To obtain a sapling, take a tree drop (fruit, honey, etc) and place it in the crafting grid with a normal tree sapling to get a Pam's mods sapling. This recipe does not work with birch, pine, or jungle tree saplings.

They are listed in a GoogleDoc that I linked under the recipes header. Please check there for now.

Once 1.7 is out, and I get my mods to work with the new update, I'll be posting more pictures and recipe pictures then.

Just waiting on MCP and MinecraftExtended to be updated before I can update my stuff. I'll be adding new things when I do (and maybe even fixing how flowers spawn so they're not everywhere anymore), so it will hopefully be worth it!

I'm thinking of changing my food mod to be a bit more complicated, with recipes needing tools and the recipes themselves being more in-depth. Do you have an opinion? I'd love to hear it!

Updated Weee! Flowers for Minecraft 1.7.2!

Also fixed flowers spawning everywhere in the same number for each type. Flowers should now be more spaced out with a different count of each type for each spawn area.

Enjoy!

My food mod will be updated once Minecraft Extended is updated. Please be patient!

Updated Pam's Food Mod to 1.1 for 1.7.2!

Updated Weee! Flowers to 1.2!

Next update: I plan on adding at least 25 new recipes and then hopefully posting pics of each recipe instead of routing people to a GoogleDoc.

This looks awesome, downloading right now! I'll reply again when I start playing with it. The only bad thing is that Painterly pack gives me a headache. I use Moontrain's Lucid Pack, but the seeds are normal, Minecraft default I think.
