I really encourage everyone to pm me how they think I should improve the launcher, I am currently working on an automatic backup system for you maps, or if you find any bug in the program please contact me!

First of all thanks for making such a utility.

Two bug reports:

1) level-seed. It saves it as "level-speed=" in the server.properties

2) If you hit the "remove" buttons when nothing is selected then you get a crash.

I will address these in my V3.0 update. It may be a couple more days before it is released because I am going bush . If everything goes to plan it will be released late next week or early the week after. Sorry for the delay everyone and thankyou for the support

Nice. If you wanted to be picky I would also recommend improving your icon a little. On Windows 7 the icon looks blurry on the desktop. I assume because of the resolution of the icon (lacking 256x256?). Just a friendly suggestion if you wanted to make it "perfect".

I assume also for future versions you plan to include Ops.txt and white-list.txt features?

When you start the .exe the bar says: "Minecraft Sever Launcher" Sever? You need to fix that.

An idea to ServerCraft:
- Make the ServerCraft itself a server, without the need to download it in minecraft.net

Having troubles with version 3.0 when used on 1.7.3 of minecraft.

Not sure what is causing it. Here is the error I get on the console of the server:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to check session lock, aborting

If I revert back to using "Minecraft Server Launcher V2.5" the server works properly.


For some reason it also keeps adding my world name to banned-ips.txt with 3.0

Try Version 3.1 that should have fixed it

First of all I wanna say good job man, I really like that this Tool supports the .exe servers, because .exe doesn't lagg as much.
But secondly an improvement could be that you like in MCAdmin have ranks. As an admin you can change what those in the specific ranks can do. It'd be very cool, because I really like that feature, and MCAdmin doesn't support .exe. Your tool could be more popular than MCAdmin because of the support of .exe server.

Thanks for the support, the reason MCAdmin doesn't support .exe is because the ranks system works of modifying that .jars (or so I believe). I will look into the idea and see what I can do.

I am still having problems with the newer versions.

1) It still keeps adding extra white spaces at the end of the "level-name" line. This seems to prevents it from properly running in .exe server mode.

2) Newest 4.0 version doesn't seem to even try to start up the server when you hit run button. After pressing the button nothing happens. I am using an .exe server

3) I noticed with version 4.0 the commented lines in server.properties are no longer there. Not sure if they are needed but it would be nice if they were still generated:
