Are you sick of having to manually change all of your server settings? Well no longer, that is exactly what this tool is for! Place the ServerCrafter.exe anywhere on you computer and select your server file. Please comment what you think, and what I need to do to improve it!
THANK YOU. Been looking for something like this for ages! Thanks again!

Been noticing this phenomenon more where people who hold standards that above average are silenced while those with standards lower than average are viewed as pleasant and preferable. No wonder mass media is in such ****.
I really encourage everyone to pm me how they think I should improve the launcher, I am currently working on an automatic backup system for you maps, or if you find any bug in the program please contact me!
I will address these in my V3.0 update. It may be a couple more days before it is released because I am going bush :smile.gif:. If everything goes to plan it will be released late next week or early the week after. Sorry for the delay everyone and thankyou for the support
Nice. If you wanted to be picky I would also recommend improving your icon a little. On Windows 7 the icon looks blurry on the desktop. I assume because of the resolution of the icon (lacking 256x256?). Just a friendly suggestion if you wanted to make it "perfect".
I assume also for future versions you plan to include Ops.txt and white-list.txt features?
Thanks for the support, the reason MCAdmin doesn't support .exe is because the ranks system works of modifying that .jars (or so I believe). I will look into the idea and see what I can do.
I am still having problems with the newer versions.
1) It still keeps adding extra white spaces at the end of the "level-name" line. This seems to prevents it from properly running in .exe server mode.
2) Newest 4.0 version doesn't seem to even try to start up the server when you hit run button. After pressing the button nothing happens. I am using an .exe server
3) I noticed with version 4.0 the commented lines in server.properties are no longer there. Not sure if they are needed but it would be nice if they were still generated:
#Minecraft server properties
#Sat Jul 16 16:33:05 EDT 2011
Update done at your request! :smile.gif: Thankyou for finding the bugs, and with your world, are you sure that you don't have spaces in your textbox?
Thanks for the quick updates :smile.gif:
Where is the link to v4.1? I can't seem to locate it.
As for the problem with white spaces appearing at end of world name, if I manually edit the server.properties file using Notepad to remove the white spaces the server runs fine. When I try to use the server.properties file that is generated by the newer versions of ServerCraft I get the error in the console mentioned a few posts back.

Hey, Sorry it was the wrong link, it is updated now. I still don't know about your world name, i will look into it more

Everything seems to work perfectly now except for the white spaces being added to end of the world name.
You can even see in the server console the spaces being added...notice how the closing quote doesn't directly follow the name:
Preparing level "Our_New_World "
What happens is that when I start up ServerCraft I must manually use the drop down menu to select the world. Perhaps the spaces are being added when the app loads the "server.properties" file...a bug in your file load routine?
Two bug reports:
1) level-seed. It saves it as "level-speed=" in the server.properties
2) If you hit the "remove" buttons when nothing is selected then you get a crash.

Not sure what is causing it. Here is the error I get on the console of the server:
If I revert back to using "Minecraft Server Launcher V2.5" the server works properly.
For some reason it also keeps adding my world name to banned-ips.txt with 3.0
looking into it
Thanks. For now reverting back to old 2.5 version.
Perhaps it is just some freak thing that happens to my server and other people won't have that issue.
Much thanks for new version.
