Repeticraft is a 16x Texture Pack, which recreates almost everything in Minecraft, with the goal for it all to seamlessly tile in one uniform pattern. Except it's ended up to be about 2 main patterns Now Back in Action! New Custom Font!
Requires the MCPatcher in order to function correctly.
Today we look at a pack in a style that tends to be boring and plain. Pattern packs. However, Repiticraft stands head and shoulders above most other pattern packs. The pattern is interesting and allows for all the textures to blend nicely. Also, unlike other pattern packs, the pattern actually looks like it is part of the texture rather than a sticker placed on top. Overall this pack is rather well handled and I strongly suggest you to give it a look.
Here is what Theevilpplz had to say about his pack.
Me: what inspired you to make repiticraft?
Theevilpplz: I saw another texture pack, and the dirt and the cobble shared the same basic pattern, tiling perfectly into each other. So I decided to make a texture pack where everything tiled perfectly with everything else. I tried actually drawing stuff, and would have all the lines on a block terminate in the same location so it would tile well. But I then decided I couldn't draw. So I made the pattern you see now for Cobblestone and then decided to do the same for the rest of the blocks.
Me: What programs and processes did you use to make your pack?
Theevilpplz: I used Gimp. And I pretty much did the entire thing using the pencil, and taking the colours from the default textures.
Me: Do you plan on making any other packs in the future?
Theevilpplz: When I am 'done' with Repeticraft (all artists know you are NEVER truely done), I plan on making a 'simple/bucketfill' pack version of Repeticraft, still using the same basic pattern called Repeticraft Lite.
I also plan to see if I can expand with a version in 32x, called Repeticraft+
Me: Do you have any advice to the newer texture pack artists out there?
Theevilpplz: If you are making a texture pack to be 'famous', don't do it. If you do, you will be greatly upset by the lack of response. Instead, do it for YOU and for the enjoyment you get from creating something. If you do,you will get even more joy when the download count for your pack keeps rising, and you slowly gain recognition. And doing it for the joy of creation means you can keep going, even if nobody responds
Repeticraft… A brilliant texture pack by Theevilpplz with an aim to recreate miencraft into one or two seamless and repeated pattern. Repeticraft modifies each normal texture to look like a wonderful tessellation. The patterns aren’t only seamless, they look very good too. They Cris-cross into each other and really represent each block. The colours work perfectly; they easily define each block leaving a lot of contrast to make it more interesting.
I have to say. After playing around with Repeticraft I can really see how much it can change the game. It just makes it so much more interesting with everything being a pattern. It might sound stupid but my favourite texture so far is actually the grass… I know, weird; but the grass is what makes the miencraft world look most natural and the way Repeticraft turns something so natural into a perfect and seamless pattern without making it look artificial is astonishing. I’m also a fan of the homely textures like trap doors and wood. They look so fancy and can really sparkle up your home.
If you’re anyone with a OCD problem about order then this pack would be for you. Almost every texture uses the same template but coloured and… well, textured different!
With the way Repeticraft can turn even the most natural things into a perfect pattern and of course the fact that the textures have full Connected Textures mod support is just awesome. It truly is a unique but still very practical pack to be using.
I also suggest you check out the High Def version of this pack Repticraft Deluxe.

While one way, a texture pack where everything is based off of one pattern can be a sign of uncreativity, it can take a lot of creativity because you need to make every block unique enough to be obviously different from others, while still fitting the pattern.
