I was just looking through this forum attempting to find a good minimap mod when I saw this thread. Drfrozenfire and I are working on a wastelands texture pack inspired by the Dark Tower series.

I think it may be in our best interest to collaborate. At the very least this will be the first mod we provide support for in our pack. Once you get the update with new content that is.

1 question... why did you make the sky a redish coulour? when and what kind of apocolypse is it?
Nuclear war (WW3)
Zombie
Solar (yes I know the mod
)
Aliens
WW3 (no nukes)
Now heres some suggestions from my bf (FO1-NV nerd)
"start in a vault,"
"mabye add a cutscene?"
"randomly generated 'mysterious craters',"
"randomly generated Army bases(?)"
"mabye team up with formivore and unite the mods," (walled city mod)
and here are my ideas :3
we need tents!!!! like randomly generated wool tents with a piece of nether rack on fire in the middle of a Squircle (circle) of tents
and i know this is a pain in the arse but if you could maake randomly/procedurally generated roads and when two roads meet it creates a "pass" like one road goes under and one over (visa/versa) and then we'd have a apocolyptic wastland that looks like it was "occupied" me and Alex are immersion fanatics,

The randomly generated buildings are possible but complex, so it would take a very long time for them to be made, cutscenes are near impossible though I bet.
The ideas are pretty optimistic, yet possible, just decided to answer since the author probably wont anyway.

I have an idea for the 1.9 update, its a desert biome but you know that effect that is near bedrock?
yeh the smoke type effect i hope that weasel reads this and makes the desert biome have this
(or mushroom biome) so that way i can have in my server "Shoud town" :3
