I'm not sure how to fix the problem myself, but have you emailed that log file to support@mojang.com, so Notch can hopefully fix this error permanently?

You cant just rename your profile though, you have to make a new user account without special symbols.

i had the exact same problem and i watched a video and it help me fix it

Bring up the run window thing by holding the "windows key" and pressing "r" then type %appdata% in the box.  Delete the .minecraft folder and then install the game again.  I also went to the search thing in the start menu and searched all of my files for anything with minecraft in it and deleted it just to be sure i got everything oof of my computer before i installed it again.

Hope i helped :D

Did nothing for me, Minecraft continues to blue screen after shutting the game down every so 'often' and the video you're talking about also says "insert this bin folder . . ." doesn't do anything either.

Pretty much anyone with realtek NIC cards have all of these problems with Java along with trying to host their own server. Notch is pretty much putting his full time into his 'new' game and Minecraft is a lost cause.
