Ever since Simon(Honeydew) of the Yogscast did a series of videos containing the modpack, "Now That's What I Call Minecraft", it has become efamous. So, I have decided to create a topic on the MC forums where people can post their maps, some survival maps, or adventure maps, or just really cool maps that you have made. The link for the modpack is below, so that you can enjoy the power of so many mods in one place. If you want me to put your map here for other people to use, send me the map in a zipped folder or a Winrar file at jogedeed@gmail.com and tell me which mods you have used while making the map, so that everyone else will know what to use when using the modpack.

Yeah, I edited my post because I read more, but..there is something not right about this. What is the mod specifically "Now that's what I call minecraft"? I thought that was a mod pack? Is it something else? a mod for sharing maps?

it is a mod pack, but this is a topic for people to share their maps so other people can try them out.

Then it is the wrong section. See the link you have quoted from me. If it is for sharing maps, it goes in the forum for sharing maps.

wrong section, if its not YOUR MOD that your releasing then it dusnt go here. and if its about MAPS it goes in a diffrent section. this needs to be moved, asap.

you should really put it in the discussion section. Also, Mod packs are not allowed here, since each mod maker have a "forced" copyright on their materials.

That may be so, but this thread should be put in the discussion section, since it does not offer the mod compilation itself, and you are simply asking other people to discuss via posting screen shots.

No it should be in the maps section, it is for sharing maps.

Guys it should be in the mods section, texture packs section, and maps section it has all of those so thats where it should go!

I'm not saying you are wrong, but if it is to share maps, like the OP stated, it does not belong here in released mods. It doesn't matter if the maps require a mod. You provide a link to the thread to get that mod. Again, if this is not about downloading a specific mod, it doesn't go in released mods, even if it is related to mods indirectly.

If it is for the download of a mod pack, which it includes, then it should have info about what mods are in it here, in this thread, and have permission for all those mods.

The better way to do it, IMO, is provide complete info about the mods in the pack and the permission received here, with the download (the pack credits the individual mod creators, but this forum requires permission, specifically, has that been received by all?), and link to another thread in the maps section for sharing maps.

Asked whose permission? If you mean puddinghuxtable (creator of the modpack itself), you also need the permission of the creators of every. single. mod. in. the. pack. Especially since puddinghuxtable didn't get permission from most of them in the first place.
