1. I awoke far underground.

2. It was pitch black.  I couldn't see my hand in front of my face.

3. Blindly I stumbled around, feeling for the walls.

4. Suddenly I heard a noise.

5. A scratching coming from in front of me.

6. As I struggled to pinpoint the noise something brushed past my leg.

7. I screamed.

8. I turned and ran as fast as I could.

9. As I ran I saw a brief flash of light to my left.


What is this mini story that I have found?

This is a different story that I am telling in the alt text. I think having this creepy story hidden under the regular one adds the feel of uncertainty that minecraft can bring on. Also it will become very important in the coming weeks...

See? Depth! You dont get that in many webcomics!

Haha, these are great! How do you get the images for the comic? Multiplayer then edit out the cross hair, I assume?

Yep. Two minecraft games on a server (all on the same PC). All editing is done in paint!

Haha, score! I'm glad I'm helping people find this webcomic. It's definitely a great comic and I absolutely love the look of it. It's simple and a lot of fun. It also makes it easy to have daily comics, which is a big deal to keep regular readers.
A whole year of life in minecraft... that's the goal.
