Peaceful Pack

Download (Don't forget ModLoader and ScotsTools/MCForge (MCForge Bonemeal fix))
Description
What is Peaceful Pack I hear you say? Well, it is a pack of 4 mods I have made that include ways to get items you can't usually get in peaceful mode (such as bones and string).
Also, if you want to donate for whatever reason click here. Any amount is appreciated! (But you are still fine with me if you don't(GUILT TRIP!))

Video
If anyone wants to make a video showing off this pack then feel free to and I will post it here!
What parts are there?
There are 4 major parts to the pack, the first 3 (fossils, sulphur and flax) all started as a seperate mod but I decided to converge it all into one pack.
Fossils
Description
Fossils are just blocks that drop bones when broken (you can't get them any other way in peaceful) so you can make more dyes, bonemeal and anything else that need bones!
Image of a fossil in it's natural environment, also showcasing the random textures (uses same way as wood and dyes) Fossils are far less common since version 4, though you can still find them easily if you look hard enough in a large cave system.

Mining
When mined with stone or better they have a chance of dropping up to 2 bones at once, when mined with a golden pickaxe it drops just the block (which can be crafted into bones).
Crafting
To craft a fossil block (Which you get when mined with a golden pickaxe) into bones you just have to place a block on your crafting area (or a workbench) just like you would use logs to get planks. You should get 2 bones when crafted.
Achievements
There are currently 2 achievements:
- Mine one fossil block to get bones
- Mine one fossil block with a golden pickaxe
- Milestones!

The textures for fossils are in the /fossils/ folder, you can replace them if you want but make sure their names have not been changed!
Flax

Simply put, this is a mod that adds a new plant to the game (That you can grow!), along with a few crafting recipes and 3 new items.
About the plant
The plant can be found growing wild in world, mostly in groups of 5 - 10 or around that.

(Disregard the small shadows on them, that was a debug.)
They have 3 levels of growth: Just planted, growing, and fully grown.
When a fully grown plant is destroyed it drops one seed and one Flax Fibre, all other growing stages drop nothing when broken)
Growing the plant.
Once you have obtained a seed you can then place the plant on any dirt, grass or tilled dirt block you can find. The surroundings currently do not matter, except for the light level when growing the plant or what the plant is placed on.
When you start growing the plant is gets placed as stage 1: Just Planted.

It will then grow to after a while to stage 2: Growing. At this stage it is possible to break it to sometimes get a seed.

(Dammit, raining.)
After a bit for time it will grow to it's final stage, stage 3: Fully Grown.

When it hits stage 3 you can break it to get one seed(small chance of getting two) and one flax fibre.
You can also use bonemeal on the plant to go straight to stage 3.

Slime Pools
What are Slime pools? They are pools of slime!
This mod is my response to needing slimeballs for making sticky pistons (and it has a use with other mods too)
This mod adds 1 new block, just one. That block is a slime pool block which you can observe in it's natural habitat here:

As you can see in the above image the block gives off a glow and is half a full block's size.
But what else can the block do? Here is a small and underwhelming list:
- Spawn slimes of any size (only small on Peaceful mode, the harmless ones.)
- Be broken with a shovel to collect slimeballs (sometimes none, sometimes one and rarely 2 dropped!)
- Glows
- Is halfblock sized
- Slows you down
- Can't jump in it (it's gluey)
- Spawn in pools!

The slime pools generate from layers 10 to it's upmost layer of 45.
This mod also adds one crafting recipe for slimepools to reconstruct the slimepool block:

How do I install this pack?
Just like any other mod! (if you know how youc an drop the zip file in the mods folder)
(Make sure to install Modloader before this)
(Make sure to install ScotsTools before this)
1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4) Drag and drop (AKA copy) the files in the zip into the jar.
5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
6) Run Minecraft and enjoy!
Anything else I need to know?
- Requires ModLoader
- Other suggestions welcome to add to this pack
Configuration
As of Peaceful Pack V2 I have now made this pack the only way to get the PeacefulPack mods. This is so it is easier to update for me for new versions and less separate threads to maintain.
To change whether any of the 3 mods are active and their block IDs you will need to follow the following instructions:
- Run Minecraft at least once, you just have to login and get to the main menu and close again. (this generates the config file)
- Find a text file called "PeacefulConfig.txt" in your mods directory. (In the .minecraft folder)
- Open it.
- In that text file are all the available config options to change block/item ids and turn each seperate mod on or off (and change the spawn rate of flax and slime pools).
- When finished editing save the config file and you're ready to go!
