Hello everyone, inspired by Tibyon and Morhlis texture pack of a classic 8-bit castlevania i decided to go ahead and upgrade that texture pack into a 16bit, based of my favorite Castlevania soundtrack, Rondo of Blood which is also known as Dracula X,this isnt me stealing them of their texture pack i will completly edit all of the items and all of the mobs to a higher resolution and more shading, this also applies for mobs, weapons and even armor, but heres some videos and pictures so you can get convinced X3

The texture pack used here was from Pre-release so a lot of things have been aded since his review These videos by FreestyleOMG the video being displayed uses the classic pack, there is no new video for the Modern though, but i will comment on his page spazzing out with how much i appreciate him doing this :3! if you can please go to his channel and leave a like or a comment im sure he would appreciate it X3

the major difference on this one is simply the terrain, GUI and items keep in mind this is mostly used for custom maps as the wool textures are not good for pixel art

cant play a castlevania texture pack with no castlevania related skins OAO! thanks to tolle for the great support and making these skins, i would also like to extend my thanks to him for giving a lot of suggestions for this pack and taking his valuable time doing these skins thanks again friend :3

Morhils: when i saw his texture pack i started using it a lot, but as great as it was i wanted to upgrade the texture of everything he did, thus i am creditting him for the inspiration of doing this texture pack, that and the fact he no longer updates the texture pack, hopefuly many of his fellow Castlevania fans drop by and give mine a chance <:3

Tolle: for giving us all the great player skins

sadly castlevania is the 1 nintendo series I don't know that good
but i'f you don't have anything for ghasts yet then I suggest a medusa head

hmm im starting to think thats why my castlevania related stuff isnt getting much attention here, i guess minecraft players arent very in common with the Castlevania series, i have read many post saying that there either not into this or dont know about the game, oh the ghast are currently the medusa but i need to upgrade it into a SNES quality i was also thinking of making the Ghast into a Dracula kind of skin hehe he would look like a square chibi monster but still would give him that demonic face, still thank you for the comment and suggestion :3

Glad to see another castlevania pack.....also if your wondering why your not getting much attention its because there is one out already that and it should have more screneies :3


ps: get more mirrors....i hate mega-upload =S


1 other thing...why does a shovel look like a sword?

the dirt looks great

but the wooden planks need work :/ yellow doesn't fit them well

please make the swords whips :D, also i downloaded it ( all i need is 1.6.6 and castlevania in the name and im on it ! )

i understand that makes a lot more sense knowing theres actually 3 castlevania texture packs i have noticed in the forusm...not sure if theres more though, alright i know just the picture im missing the usual pyramid of blocks XDD your right ill get working on that pic and post it,
oh and well dont you find it cliche that every single texture pack has shovels? i felt like i wanted to take advantage of those slots to add more "weapons" besides anyone hardly uses shovels so i was hoping to make them look cool while using them to Murder dirt blocks....because you know...dirt is evil OAO!! hehe

hmm...i could use the tree pallet on the wooden planks the reason they look like that was for the particular stages im doing, but i could make them more brown instead of orange alright ill work on it :3

i actually have Tolle, the wooden sword is the powerless whip, the stone sword is Trevors whip, the iron sword is the vampire killer or full upgrade, the diamond sword, is Alucards sword and the golden sword is just some cool looking blade hehe,

im not sure what you mean with 1.6.6 my only guess is you havent updated or i should add that this pack is for 1.6.6 in the title....which would be a good idea i hope this is what you ment 83

i want to thank you for downloading my upgrade pack :3

u know how i would love u to do?....make alucard sword for the gold and for the daimond....THE FLAMEWHIP!!!! PLEASE I LUVE THAT FUCKING THING >.< Also please change the torch, the blue flame mixed with the orange flame makes it look really odd and unpleasant :C

That's kinda creepy :|

The pigmen's texture looks almost the same as the texture I'm working on for my own rpgtexturepack :o...Except mine's on the zombie :P...

Was this chapter before or after symphony of the night? Because the Gui looks like sotn :)

Noyce work btw :)

I'm familiar with some Castlevania stuff on the N64, but not the 8-bit stuff, just the 3d stuff. Though, I do like horror/vampire themed stuff, so cool! :iapprove:

hmm...that would mean the zombie pigmen would have alucards sword...and making alucards sword the most useless weapon in the game XDD alright you know whatz i can do all of this by adding "pick your own weapon" one for the flamewhip and one for the classic sword wielding lovers, because i do admit i enjoy the flamewhip aswell, but...the flame is gonna look akward dont you think? ill give it a shot and let you be the judge :3

hehe its completly by coincidence, i am basing my zombie pigmen of the 3rd stage boss in the Castlevania series, and you my friend have a very good eye, Rondo of blood doesnt really have a gui other than the main menu, so i combined Sotn gui textures for this one, i really really love how the chest looks hehe, thank you for the compliment im glad you liked it X3

well this was originaly going to be a big castlevania compilation hmm...i should change the title to something more fitting because a lot of the textures are from different castlevania games, so it isnt exactly a full Rondo of blood texture pack, and thank you for the approve its really appreciated X3

can you add support for premium wood? also fix the art ( use craftslvania 2.8.7 art ) and fix pumpkins, would love that. Also make the bow a knife ( since u throw knives )

i finaly fixed the gravel it looks even better now and more like gravel actually hehe, and i also fixed the torches thank you for that suggestion, i liked how blue flames looked but orange looks just as nice :3

premium wood? i have not heard of that one is it a mod? oh right im going to add new paintings on the next update the only reason why they are so repetitive is because of a custom map i was doing but now that im not continuing the Castlevania custom map, ill fix those paintings, also giving you a minecraft forum version of a thumbs up XD, these are great suggestion im glad i am at least making this for more than just myself, i hope you love the new download upgrades :3!

also ..TRY to make the bow a hand that holds a knife, look more real. Also with the new update im in LOVE with the texture pack ( using it nonstop now ) u made an awesome job, cant wait for the art to be added :D

the one series of games for the NES to the current that follows a relative storyline.
Unlike say Zelda, whose storyline is broken to hell.
