[u]What's New with 2.8

• I am using items for Doku craft as place holders now. I will be replacing these in the future
  
• changed the cobble stone again to look more like gray brick and have toned down the smooth stone to be a bit more smooth
  
• added textures for 1.8 and updated the chest texture to work
  
• I can't remember what else I did. so tell me what you think

One last thing version 2.8 is still a wip so if you want my 1.8 update then feel free do download it. But I will be making changes to the pack in the near future as I work out some of the kinks in the designs because the new textures are not 100% satisfactory yet. They work but are not perfect. I hope you enjoy the update

Stuff pertaining to old updates ....

There are also several improvments over textures in this update and the old textures are included in the Terrain.png so if you have gimp of photoshop you can customize the pack to you liking.

If you just want the Aether Part of of this textur pack you can download it Here

To install the Aether support to another Textur pack drop the entier extracted folder inside your other textur packs zip folder.

Another update :3
this time with GUI and Paintings, and some more Item's done. I also changed a few blocks a bit, but nothing major.
next update will hopefully include custom mobs.

The Alternative Wool w/ Patterns


The default Wool terrain png located in zip

To use Alternative wool Open the Zip file and rename terrainALTwool.png to terrain.png. Make sure to save the files back into a zip format before placing thin the Texture pack folder found in
C:\Users\(insert computer name here)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks

On Mac:
~/username/library/application suport/minecraft/texturepacks

I'm still working on my pack but I'm absolutely burnt out on the game for now. I will be updating for 1.8 but depending on how that turns out I may not be doing much more with this pack. So While I still will be working on official updates of this pack I also no longer care if anyone uses the textures for there own pack so feel free to add Kind Craft if you like to your list of packs available to be used in remixes.

I tried it and I really enjoy this texture pack. It has already become one of my favorites. I love the detail and the designs put into it. Wonderful job. I hope this gets more recognition.

Thank you, that is a very flattering thing to say. It would be nice if more people commented on my work, good or back. Feedback is always welcomed.

I updated the Textur pack to add Music boxes and TNT. I will be working on finishing the Item art next, then I will work on a new GUI.

What do yo think of the Idea of me making a signature/ banner for people to rock as advertising?

Oh, I think you can make the cobblestone tile better. When I look at it, it looks off somewhere, I just can't put where on.

I agree with this, it doesn't tile very well for some reason, I think it is the thin line at the bottom of the block, dunno for sure though.


Also, the water is rather static, although this shouldn't really be a concern now, as you should first just finish all the main priorities, but I think it's something you could work on later.

Otherwise, great pack!  

PS. I'm a big fan of your lava texture.

I didn't even see that until you pointed it out... Cannot be unseen. I will fix the cobble stone in the next update. The water will be worked on as well.

I Plan on making some original art for them at some point but it's not a top priority.

Nice tweaks, But I still noticed some tiling issues though, and a few others:

Natural stone tiling issue:
There's just this one big rock it seems which stands out A LOT, which causes it to tile bad:


As you can see there's this big rock, which looks kinda like a bullet which really stands outs.

Also, same thing with the Obsidian, there's this pattern in the shape of a 9 which really stands out, and a lightish purple/pink line at the edge of each blocks which makes it able to identify each indivudual block:



Here's just a missplaced glowstone


And the cobble looks like natural stone:


Maybe try giving it a darkish tone, or make it look slightly more like bricks, messy bricks if you'd prefer that.

I fixed the problem with the glow-stone. I accidentally deleted some of it when adding the wild grass.  The other things are ascetic choices that may change in latter versions. But for now will remain the same.
