Those are the 1.4.4 patch notes. Thats not including the 100+ bug fixes that were in 1.4.3.

yeah.. there's a reason I just kinda went *bleep* it and grabbed the FTB launcher. That's basically all the mods I use anyway. (Except for
GregBrokenTech but I can remove that one)Just finished Assassin's Creed 3 yesterday myself. Spoiler-free mini-review: too much wilderness, not enough city. Brotherhood was more fun than this one. Still a good game though.
yeah i have to agree i wussed out and decided to at least see how competent the FTB launcher thing is too, honestly, i see absolutely zero reasons to use it over multimc at current, it's as if someone reskinned it and added a preset mod pack and called it done, but don't misunderstand i'm not passing judgement until i see how it handles ID conflicts with mods outside it's preset list and i also want to take a look at how building the server is when that's done instead of the prepackaged server we're using at current before i decide if it stays around or not.

Great, just when i get all my mods playing nicely they release 1.4.4
But at least we (might) get redpower.

Many people do actually! I for one am waiting for its PC release.
yeah i know, that's why the face, i don't know, i was never one to enjoy console type games anyway and the combat is so insanely boring in those, the second i think was where i had to stop trying to care anymore, i honestly kinda wonder if they're even serious about the series anymore now that ubisoft is trying to sell it on multiplayer of all things.

With the FTB modpack Slowpoke went through and edited the configs to solve the ID conflicts between the included mods. adding others besides the presets may involve your editing the new mod's config yourself
yeah they plan to have a different mechanic for researching symbols, and i believe they want to make mystcraft ages more of an endgame thing

I still have to get factorization working, crashes on load.
yeah i figured that really had to be the case at current, don't get me wrong though, it's still far too early to tell but at the moment, it's literally identical to technic launcher, just a less out of date selection of mods, if FTB launcher winds up someday being a part of my essential toolkit it's gonna be because it does things that others don't.
also, technic/tekkit haters, come at me bro, seriously, sick of hearing about it and couldn't care less, haven't used it since it stopped having a point, but i'm not about to baby FTB and tell it that it's better if and when it isn't, equal scrutiny.
yeah that's definitely understandable and all, i got it narrowed down to either being a problem with redwire somehow, or a problem with wireless redstone CBE, i forget if he did or not have the same problem but i think direwolf had the same issues to a lesser extent when he built the mobile 9x9, at any rate though, it was just such a glorious thing when it was able to move around and all and it's like either i can use it and crash the server constantly, or i can let it rot and.... yeah, it rots. was sad more than anything.

the main difference is a matter of permission and support from the modders themselves lol (plus the modpack maker going through the dfg files and manually editing the ids rather than throwing ID resolver in and letting that semi-solve the problem XD)

Blaming it on Mojang now? ...nice... Mojang updating isn't the problem.
indeed it is but i meant functional differences, at current we have absolute zero, hope to see that number increase and the margin of FTB vs other mod packs increase, but well only time will tell.
