What I love:
  • The high contrast textures, shading, and general style. I'm a big fan of the Borderlands pack, so naturally, a big fan of what you've done here as well.
  • The sandstone looks fantastic, and the 'creeper face' theme on some items is unique.
  • TNT

Though some things look a little too similar, such as the dirt.

What I hate:
  • Similar to the Bordercraft pack, I'm not a fan of the 'blob' style cobble and glowstone - may I suggest a rough rectangular pattern that looks as thought it was hand-carved?
  • I also hate the wavy lines in the stone, though I don't have any suggestions to make it better. Have you seen the Minecraft 4 kids pack? That has some pretty amazing stone. Might be worth looking at for inspiration.
  • Saplings should be further differentiated rather than just color changes, in my opinion.
  • No window in the iron door :( - What I think would be great is a small window that looks like one of those sliding peek-slot things, if that makes any sense.
  • Dispenser and Furnace - they're made from Cobble, but look like smooth stone?

Is it possible to lengthen the water textures so it flows faster?

Seems like a lot of negatives... but I'm only doing that because I want to help. I think it's a great start for a WIP, and look forward to future updates :)

From what I've seen of the netherrack, you should make it less busy, would be too hard on the eyes if you're in the nether. Also, I'd suggest taking off the sub-woofers off the record players.

i'm the only one to have noticed that light gray wool is much white than the normal wool ? :)

Maybe it's my eyes :P

Cheers very much for the input :) cobblestone style is done on purpose to make sure it tiles but is still noticable at cobblestone, if you want a brick type block i suggest using sandstone or bricks. i put a lot of effort into the tiling and style of the smooth stone and am happy with it. i will definitely be considering the idea of adding some kind of window to the iron door tho :)

Thanks for the input :) the netherrack may be subject to change... i haven't had much of a chance to play, since developing the pack, i will have a look in the nether and see if some colours need tweaking before the next release :)

I love it, man! I think the dirt/grass could be adjusted to go more smoothly with BetterGrass, but good job.

Absolutely love the look of this pack, exactly what i have been looking for in a texture pack. But there is on problem, my computer cant handled 128X without giving me really bad frames :( . i was wondering if you could make a 64x version? that would be really cool. plus i have a few friends that love this pack but have the same problem ( Damn crappy video cards!) so we would love to see a 64x.

i've had enough interest from people wanting a 64x64 version of the pack to now say "yes the v1.4 release onwards will be in both x64 and x128" :) but people have to willing to report bugs and stuff on the 64x64 version when it comes out as the majority of my test time goes into the x128 version

Loving this texture pack (first one I downloaded) due to the art style, keep up the great work and get those weapons/armor/tools done! :D

Question, when mining you destroy blocks, when the block falls to the floor before you pick it up, they are the original textures, is this changable via a texture pack addition, or will they always be like this? (ie can you add this in? :P)

Thanks again <3

blocks like wood and stone and ore chunks will use my textures found in the terrain.png objects like redstone dust and coal use the original textures as i have yet to do my items.png in the GUI folder... they will be done eventually :) hopefully in the next week or 2 :)

Particles are all done but the water particles need a tweak on their colour, they're too dark for my rain and water texture... tweaks on particles, updated water and lava along with 64x64 support will be the packs next update, then i will be starting work on the items.png followed by armour skins and mob skins :)
