Mead you should dump summerfields all together and go with Battered Old Stuff .
on a side note .... Mead you are going to need some logistics pipes in your lets play. Check out the Fan created section in OzBillo's OP. Cool Pipes be hiding there.
(shameless plug out the way)

Which LP would you suggest I put logistics pipes in, the one that doesn't have vanilla blocks or ores to make them with, or the one that's SMP and can't have them at all?

Um well I guess then maybe the next LP Your LP's are getting better and better , nice job!
Added connected textures for wood planks, wood stairs, fences, and sugar cane.
I've also included an early version of connected birch planks (the red boards).
... but got to say not down with the cobblestone. The blocks are too big and have a sort of "uniformity" to their look that just does scream "I'm a collection of smashes rock, hap-hazardly bundled together as a block.
It is a work in progress and I agree with almost all you say. Though, to me, the previous cobblestone was more uniform. But, I'll work on the new one some more. And I've got some CTM ideas for it. Maybe the next iteration will appeal to you more
the problem i have with the cobblestone is that you can seem them tile and that they have a smooth style which clashes alittle in my opinion with the beatup look of the rest of the tile set. think ill stick with the previous cobbles but still nice work

Thank you for the feedback, venuse8102.
I agree about the smoothness. It does need to be more beatup. I think that was what LutherAD meant, too, when he said uniformity.
I'll have another try
(edit) How's this one look? I've put a pic of the old below it to compare.
It's not my cup of tea, but dang does it look amazing! This is the kind of texture pack that would get people from the History Channel playing Minecraft.
alot better but would still need to see it ingame and in a long line to see about tiling issues. there is one thing i have problem with, and thats visible tiling at a distance. it breaks the believeability of the world.

I just uploaded a new version with it in.
I need to do some more work on it, including the edges, but it already tiles pretty well.
And, it looks more natural than the old one, I reckon.
See what you think.
quick question, may i use some of your textures as filler for my own texture pack, ? not sure if im gona finish the texture pack, mostly using it for personal use and i havent posted it on the forums.

It's certainly okay if it's for personal use only.
If you only include 2 or 3 of my textures in your texture pack, and you want to share it on the forums, you can as long as I am credited and you include a link back to this forum.
Hey ozbillo I think your textures are awsome but do you think that eventually you could make a 32x32 version. You would get more downloads from people like me with bad PCs but think your pack is awsome. Thanks For reading!

Seriously well done.

Added connected textures for wooden slabs and double slabs.
Added texture for wooden pressure plate.
New texture for connected fences.
You work it like a master!
Crikey! Thanks, Glimmar
New texture for RedPower Pump (my previous effort was quite ugly, I reckon).
New texture for Cobblestone (revisiting an early idea).
(edit) It's nearly a year since I changed the cobblestone texture. I'd like some feedback on whether you prefer the new to the previous.
Cool! Thanks, LutherAD

I really appreciate your continued support and feedback, LutherAD. You, also, keep it up
