So one day a few weeks ago, I was messing around with GIMP's filter options and seeing how they'd effect Minecraft's terrain. None of them really worked, until I found the clothify feature. And man, did it look great! But I didn't really feel comfortable just clothifying the original terrain and calling it a texture pack, so I decided to make some original textures to clothify. This spawned Clothified and ModeleCraft.
Note that Clothified is heavily WIP, as I'm mainly focusing on getting the base textures (ModeleCraft) done before I finish this. Right now, only the original textures have the clothify effect on them, and not all textures tile well. Anyway, here are some pictures:
Haha, I think I'll probably go with that. It's a whole lot better; I think the only reason I really like the right one is 'cause I left it like that for a while.
Woops! I forgot to actually update the zip folder for the texture pack with the edited terrain for 1.6 from the normal folders I use for editing. NOW the texture pack works right.
The poll image has a black bar near the middle, right? The left cobblestone is the cobblestone to the left of the black bar, and the right cobblestone is the cobblestone to the right of the black bar.
So the first option is for the left cobblestone, and the second option is for the right cobblestone.

I know, i know.
I mean i think that the first option mean:
The left cobble is good.
and the second mean:
The right cobble is bad.
But it's realy possible that i just don't understand it right.
Sorry my english isn't that good :dry.gif:
I find it slightly too similar to the default for my liking, but it's good!
EDIT: The first screenshot of Modelecraft... it's the same as one of Billycraft's shots.
Oh, the nostalgia :biggrin.gif:
EDIT 2: I just saw the "only the default textures are clothified right now" thing. I guess that explains that.
When there's new textures, I shall re-evaluatem my opinion. Promise.
Aye, it does end up being a bit similar, but I just love the sort of arcane or swampy look it gives things.
I'm glad I could give nostalgia! I didn't even realize people liked my texture pack that much...
Welp, I'll be done soon. I just finished bookshelves, biome colors, and wild grass for ModeleCraft! I really like how the biome colors came out myself, but I'll need feedback, as it is rather different (though it was as simple as coloring things a bit bluer and adding HSV noise).
UPDATE: I added note blocks and iron doors to ModeleCraft. I'm getting closer, but now I'm on to the texture I don't want to do (pumpkins, furnaces, cacti). :dry.gif:

Also, note that I'm working very sporadically on this, so while it should be done by the end of June, don't count on it.
Dito, the left is much better!
But, i don't know if i just don't understand it right, but is it possible that both of your possible answers in the poll mean the same? :ohmy.gif:

Oh, okay
:smile.gif:
Thanks! I've done a lot of work on it.

...I haven't even been playing Minecraft lately, and I haven't been feeling very creative, so this is kind of at a standstill right now. XD
