--Updating Mods AGAIN(1.6.5) -- Might just wait for a week and see if anymore updates are released. Until then, I'm sticking to 1.5_01

NOTCH HAS RECENTLY ANNOUNCED A 1.6.6 UPDATE THIS WEEK. I WILL NOT BE POSTING AUTO ID / OTHER MODS UNTIL THEN. IF YOU NEED ANY MODS FOR 1.6.5 JUST MESSAGE ME

I'm having trouble with the new blocks. In the inventory, the icons are invisible. In the world, they are purple glitch squares. I'm using the default texture in case it's the texture pack problem, but it's still not working. Is there any way to fix this?

That's crazy that you mention that. I was having the same problem when I used the HD textures. I'm not sure if this is my fault or the latest HD Patcher Fix. I can't see why my code would cause an HD texture not to work but it's a possibility.. I'll put a warning up and keep you posted on a fix.

Also.. i'll be uploading 64/32 HD textures soon!

Just so you know, I found that the latest version of HD patcher is working with it. A simple fix I never thought to use, haha.

What version of Modloader is v.4?  Is that the most recent version for Beta 1.6.6 or is it an older version.  I've installed plenty of other mods, so I know what to do.  I just don't know if I should use the most recent Modloader or the one listed as like B3.pointsomething.v4 since neither of those worked.

I really want to get these mods to work since they look awesome.  :D

the latest version of Modloader v1.6.6 SHOULD be working fine with my mods... as long as the modloader functions haven't changed you should be good..

so Modloader v4 for 1.6.6 ?

Ive been running into a couple problems with Auto ID. I've been talking to Aligator in hopes of getting some more insight into why it's not letting me update it correctly... I'll keep you posted. Hopefully you can simply change your mod's conflicting IDS manually???

I'm still having problems with this.  Fresh Minecraft jar, installed the most recent modloader then I added the files for too many items, and then the planks galore mod.  I have nothing else besides those files.


Minecraft will start, but it just crashes.

-bump- I've decided to release a 1.6.6 version of Auto ID. However, this is not the updated version. I am still working on fixing a issue.. please be patient.. it's gonna be worth it..

Alright, the game now works.  Problem must have been installation on my fault, but now my inventory won't stay open.  It just flashes for a second and closes, no matter what key it's set to.  I know that the new wood is in there though, since I could make out the different plank colors by pressing my inventory key over and over.


I'm going to re-download Minecraft to see if that works.

EDIT: Alright, that did it!  The mod now works.  I know I'm going to be using this a lot with the town I'm building.  Cool mod.  :lol:

thats a VERY strangebug. I've never heard of anything like that. Try looking in the forum a bit? I'm guessing it has something to do with TMI.

Is there anyway you would be willing/able to incorporate similar functionality of MinecraftExtend into "Auto-ID"? Just kind of makes sense that these should be merged into a single mod. Maybe you and Smith_61 can work together or maybe he can share some of his code or vise verse. Just an idea. Love what all of you guys are doing with your mods.

One last thing.  I'm actually not sure how to install both the planks mod and the stone mod so that they work at the same time.  If I put the "stone" and "planks" folders both in the "caspur" folder then Minecraft crashes.  If I try to put multiple "caspur" foldrs into the Minecraft.jar then one gets over written. If I try to leave the files in their respectable planksgalore 1.1 and the stonegalore 1.1 folders, then the mods don't work.

Sorry for the late response. I've been quite busy with a new job.

Anyway, so basically my mod's call to their individual textures in these three folders:

minecraft.jar/caspur/planks/

minecraft.jar/caspur/woods/

minecraft.jar/caspur/stones/

As long as you simply move each individual mod folder into the CASPUR directory directly you shouldn't have a problem..

so basically the /caspur/ folder should have THREE folders in it.

/planks/ , /stones/ , /woods/

You shouldnt have to OVERWRITE anything. Just make sure you don't replace the CASPUR folder each time you install one of my mods.d

I would LOVE to do this. I haven't heard a word of smith_61 for about a month now. Is MinecraftExtended even being updated for 1.6.6? I am pretty sure he has an open source of his project. I'll start taking a look at the 1.5_01 and see if I can merge ours together...
