SporkList is a great mod. However, recently it's developer has become overwhelmed in RL and has ceased development. Since there was no current stable release, I decided to make a mimic mod of it. I asked doomspork if he was OK with this and he said he was.
I give you.

Server List 1.4(very very creative in my opinion)

This provides your multiplayer screen with a fancy new GUI ripped right from the world select screen.

Features

• Theoretically infinite number of savable IP addresses.
  
• Nicknames for each IP address.
  
• Renaming feature. Now allows IP address edit instead of just name.
  
• No new files, uses lastServer field in options.txt to store all saved IP's.
  
• AutoSorts in descending order of how recently you joined a server.
  
• Double-Click is back! I'm not even sure why he left in the first place!

The above image is actually wrong, you can now use apostrophes and commas, just not < and >, so no comparing servers to others in the name ya hear?!? Also please do not gass my ass as the above screenshot would imply I would want you to do. Seriously. Don't do it.

Can't seem to download from megaupload. Any chance of an alternate mirror? Maybe an adfly?

Sweet. Always loved the mod. Downloading off megaupload now; Its working fine.
People just dont want to wait i guess or the place they live may be the problem.

Hey why not say connect instead of play selected ip? it doesn't really look good to me on my game.

gives the previous error I posted.

also more info:

it will save the selected worlds and work after joining and leaving a world.
it then wipes all entered servers upon restarting the game.
also spams that error when clicking any button to do with the mod

Sorry for slow reply, the old forums went down when I was asleep but after you posted.
Try going into options.txt and removing everything in the lastServer field.

Also yes, I will change some of the button names, in retrospect those were not the best choices.
Haven't made the changes sooner cause a virus hit my computer and I lost all but 1 of the Bukkit plugins I write so I spent yesterday trying to recover them. But alas, no luck. When I get home today I'll try to fix the buttons and put up an update.

So i installed this mod yesterday. Entered in 3 Servers. Today they are all gone.
Also I guess there is a feature that it duplicates the last IP used. If i only have one it doesn't seem necessary.

Is there any way u can have the IPs save to a txt file? if thats possible maybe the IPs won't get deleted.

It saves to options.txt in the lastServer zone. Delete whatever is written after the : on that line and reload minecraft, it should now save it correctly.

Re-uploaded, this time to megaupload so no direct download link, you will have to wait 60 secs, but it will work.

Also fixed teh bug where stuff wouldn't save, was caused by using a : anywhere in name or IP, so port names screwed it up, but its fixed now. So don't make a name like a movie sequel, "My Server 2: Attack of the Lag". Other than that should work. Remember to wipe your last server field clean when you update.
