So I recently got back into playing Minecraft and using John Smith's Texture Pack, which I'll put my life on the line and say it's the best texture pack ever made. Plus, it's classy as fuck.

I'm only going to retextures the mods I'm currently using, but if you know of a mod which you think I should support I might do it if it's not too big of a hassle. I haven't done THAT much right now, but it's a start :P

To install any of these addons, just download the file, open it up, take the folder from it, and drop it in the JohnSmith texture pack zip in the TexturePacks folder.

I'd love to see support for one of the ore-adding packs, like the one in my signature. I know there's a lot of them, but maybe some kind of blank template that can be recolored for the ores in question. You could just have a couple variations of ore blocks, tools, and full metal blocks that can be colored however the user wants, then saved in the appropriate format for the pack.

The current version. I original was going to do what you did and keep the 2nd blue layer on the grass but it looks like ass in corners so I removed it. I think it looks better the way I have them set up currently. + I fixed the tiling issue and redid the frame. It doesn't look like the frame you're using is the current version of John's glass. I might make a version for that as well though, as it tiles a bit more evenly than the current one.

are you sure we are talking about the same pack? look at the customizer: i definitely used the texture from v7.2.

Oh, I see what you did. You sort of filled in the spaces with diagonal lines in places where the frame was removed. I'll make an alternate version like that, though not with the blue layer.

exactly. i used the middle part 8 more times (one for each corner and each side) and placed them with 1px overlap. fits perfectly. i like the irregular pattern. only the two black intersections are annoying.

Great thread, John Smith will always be my favorite texture pack. This thread inspired me to created John Smith style Millenaire mob skins. I'll post 'em up here when I'm done.

100% agree. No other texture pack, of any resolution, compares. (Not even mine) If we had to vote for a default 32x pack for Minecraft, he'd have my vote.

A lot of the millenaire items dont show up on this texture pack. if you could fix that up it would be nice

Could you also add support for CJB's Mods? I use that mod a LOT, so it would be nice if there was some custom GUI in it
