The official texture pack for the "Curse of the Pumpkin Prince" adventure map.

Hello! I'm Losm! Before I begin, I'd like to say a few things:
1. This is my first and only (at this time) texture pack. It's been in development for almost an entire year. That's a lot of dedication! Sure, it's had its fair share of hiatuses, but in the end, it's still here today and it's lookin' pretty damn fine if you ask me.
2. This is a dynamic texture pack. The textures constantly change whenever I feel like they need to be changed. No two versions are alike (meaning I retexture old textures (EG grass)). If you miss using a certain texture, it'll usually end up being dumped into the "alternate textures" folder, though, so you don't have to tell me about how, well, you missed an old texture.
3. I'm doing this solely for the purpose of making people happy (including myself) and giving them the highest quality texture pack I can give them. Unless I'm in dire need of it, I will never ask you for cash or make you go through adf.ly to obtain my textures.

LosmCraft is a 16x16, half-cartoony/half-realistic texture pack.

In the mood for a nice lookin' texture pack? Like shiny, bright colours? Find caverns boring to look at? Well, here's the pack for you!

LosmCraft is a 16x16 texture pack for those with a need for shininess. No patching is required, unless you want custom, animated terrain.

If you feel the need to express your love for my texture pack, go ahead and add one of these to your signature! It'd help me tons in getting my texture pack more well known (which is clearly not the next step in my maniacal plan to... Err, on second thought, nevermind).

Looks great so far. Though, the Wooden Planks look kind of like...I don't know...shiney copper ingots or something with the way the texture flows.
Taking a break.

Usually I don't really like the castoonish textures, and I'm making a "realistic" kind of texture on my own, but this tree is just pure awesome:

Nice job!

Thank you!

Haha, I've been contemplating changing them for some time now. I dunno, though. I kinda like the shiny look of 'em. Reminds me of the planks my real life house has. :P I can assure you, though, they look great for floors.

Nice job!

Good luck on that texture pack of yours. :)

Thank you. :3 Oddly enough, those were probably two of the easiest textures to make. And I thought I'd never find a way to make leaves... ;)

I didn't want to have to resort to this, but bump. I worked hard on this thing and would like some recognition/feedback on it if it's not too much to ask... >_>

Aww, don't worry. I'm sure it will pick up. It is Monday afterall, so perhaps everyone is working...or sleeping because they have school tomorrow. Or something.
Taking a break.

Your sand and snow and ice are the cutest 16x sandsnowice I've seen in a pack.
That pine tree wood texture is also adorable.
I'm just commenting on the pictures I haven't tried the pack out yet.
I need to delete some of the old ones before I can try yours I have like 15 of these things.

Haha, thanks! :P Hooray for happy textures! :D

I'm sure you'll enjoy using it. It's got the perfect mix of realistic, cartoony and just plain adorable. :D

Actually you know....your pack would probably look very nice with that glsl shaders mod that makes minecraft cel-shaded. Would make it sort of look like an rpg in a way.

Okay, finally downloaded.

If you're going to use someone elses textures as a placeholder, I recommend giving them credit so someone doesn't complain, even though most of them are resized down that they look like crap. Nevermind, I see you added that already.

Cobblestone:
I feel like it's missing something, but I'm not sure what...it was kind of startling to see it when I first loaded the pack.

Bricks, Coal Ore, Bed, Glass & Glowstone:
Love it.

Iron sword/iron chestplate/bow handle/bow string/hilt thingie of gold sword:
Is it suppose to be that color ? I won't spoil it for the others if it is and I think it's funny.

Missing textures:
Detector Rail
Powered Rail
Cookie

Web:
Transparency is missed up.
Taking a break.

Huzzah! Thanks for dowloading. :grass:

Thank you for the criticism. It's greatly appreciated. :3

Okay... Let's begin:

Cobblestone: Yes, I know. The borders of the stones are too light and it's just not cobble-y enough. I'll try redoing it in the next update.

Bricks, etc:
Thank you! :grass: I wasn't sure what to expect of the glowstone, seeing as how I started developing the pack before actually buying the game (don't ask how...) and hadn't gone in the nether since. It's good to know it looks good. It's also good to know the other stuff looks good as well. :grass:

Weird item colours:
Yes, I quite like it over the bland gray colour most packs give it. Although, after taking another look at the golden sword, I have to admit it looks pretty funny. :\

Missing textures:
Yeah, I'm quite aware of the missing textures. I just kinda rushed to get this thing out (finally). Expect these and others in the next update! :grass:

Ah, I just found out it's finally possible to place web blocks in the game. Before, if I'm not mistaken, there was no way to place these ingame, so I never bothered to really edit it. Anyways, again, expect transparency next update!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh, and Zekey...
1. I downloaded your pack. It's so psychedelic. x.x Love it! :SSSS:
2. That's actually not that bad of an idea. Maybe once I get further with my texture pack and I don't need to worry about editing everything so much I'll get around to doing this, but for now, no. :\
But why is the coal purple/blue?
It's frozen coal.
I agree with Nurio. I like the pack, but I believe your sidegrass texture is missing. Under the iron block, put a biome-compatible (if you have that) version of the sidegrass, not including the dirt part.
If biomes are not part of the pack, just make it transparent.
Still, keep it up :iapprove:
Haha, you're the second one to say that. Thank you. :D And here I thought the ice looked kinda thick and the lines on it were too prominent. O_o
Thanks! Couldn't have done it without your help (and others') (remember that thread I made asking how to make texture packs downloadable?). :)
Yeah, sure, frozen coal. Let's go with that... :D
Yeah, another thing I have to edit in the next update. :\ I noticed this with a lot of packs (when watching my friends play it). I never really understood what on Earth was happening... Until I read in another texture pack thread that on high detail mode, the side grass texture is in a different location and that it's located under the iron block texture.
Yes, biomes are part of the pack. I love biomes!
Nurio said:
Thank you. :)
It's purple/blue because another texture was using those colours and I like to have a low colour count. Also, I think it's cooler than the bland black colour it's "supposed" to have.
Anyway, pack looks great! Really unique style too! I agree with Zekey too, sandsnown'ice are the bomb!
Oh and brotip: Don't just say 'bump' tell people what you are working on next, maybe add a screenie or tell people when the next update will be! It's frowned upon less :Notch:
