Here's a view of "The Great Shelf" which is close to spawn:


The whole area is awesome; there's a small archipelago of floating islands associated with the shelf, as well as a cool arch nearby.

This isn't the main attraction though. This is:







A beautiful lake surrounded by a suspended circle of floating mountains that reach max height; the trees on top of them are cut off. Pictures don't do either place justice; you have to see it for yourself!
Coordinates are printed on the pictures.

Been playing this seed, and its a blast. There seems to be plenty of ore at the locations I've been digging; out of one cave I hauled 3 stacks of iron

Went to the Sky Lagoon looking to build something. After I passed all that snow to find this incredible landscape I thought. I'm going to build a temple to a greek god. So I started, but I didn't know which god I'd dedicate it to. Then a lightning bolt hit me:

DokuCraft. I made a small mod and swapped out the leaf shaders for "brokenloose's leaf shading" and the grass for "Brokenloose's grass shading" from the Painterly pack. This is what gives the trees the different shades.

Hit F3 to find your coordinates. Compare them with those of the aforementioned locations and move in the direction which brings your coords closer to those listed on the pics.
