Heyas! Electric Creeper is a laid back survival server with 30 slots currently and a friendly modmin team. We don't have a whitelist so feel free to join whenever you like. We are an English speaking server but we welcome people from all over the world to come and play. We have some rules, but minding those you are free to build, explore, make towns, set up shops pretty much do whatever you'd have fun doing!

Please read the rules below before joining.





Info:

-PvP is on but is only to be used as explained in the rules below.
-We have land protection available but these are only available to modmins or people who donate (see below for info).
-Mobs are on but Creepers explosions do not destroy blocks and Endermen do not greif. They both still take health from you though.
-This is a survival server so modmins will not give you items. You have to acquire them on your own. The server does feature a shop that you can use to buy things on your own.
-You are able to use water buckets and lava buckets and lighters. Fire does not spread however.
-If you experience lag it is most likely render lag. Please be patient, it goes away fairly quickly.
-Weather is OFF on this server and eggs do not hatch chickens though there are definitely chickens on the server

Come chat with us while you play using Mumble! The IP for Mumble is 184.154.31.50:64772 (remember this is different than the server IP!)

Ranks:

-When you first join the server your rank will be Guest. With time and a good attitude you will likely be raised in rank to Loyal. Loyals have access to a few item kits, are able to sell items in the shops (Guests can only buy) and their name is a different color.

-The Helper rank is a rank given only to some select Loyals. There job is to track down greifing, replant trees, chop down floating trees and answer questions that new people to the server have. They get a special helper kit and are the group of people that future mods will be pulled from. Helper is not a rank that is guaranteed.

-Mods and Admins are who you go to if you have a problem. Owner should be self explanatory

-Council is essential super admin. They are the highest rank of staff under Owner and Co-Owner.

-People who donate get special tags, Donor, Donor+, Sponsor, VIP and the super sexy VIP+


Rules:

-No greifing. Destroying other peoples creations will not be tolerated. We have excellent anti grief measures so if something happens to your building just let an admin know and we can see who did it, roll it back and ban the offender easily.
-Do not ask for a promotion. Promotions are done only by myself and only when you've played on the server for a while and if your consistently respectful to all players.
-Do not be rude. Respect other players and the modmin team. If you get killed or greifed don't throw a fit, the modmins can help you but likely won't if you're an ass about it
-PVP is on but only use it if someone has stolen from you, greifed you or is on your land without permission. Please warn a person if they are on your land first and give them time to leave. If they refuse to leave then feel free to kill them and take their item drop.
-Do not thieve from people. If someone steals from you it is acceptable to kill them.
-Do not use hacked clients. Using xray mods, fly mods, speed hacks, see through wall texture packs or any other kinds of mods that give you an unfair advantage = ban.
-No placing of prohibited blocks. This includes TNT, bedrock, spawners, dispensers, lava blocks and water blocks (water bucket and lava bucket placement is ok)'
- If you cut down a tree don't leave floating leaves. Cut down the whole tree please.
-If you build a pillar to the sky and it has no other purpose than to help you get your bearings please remove it when you are done.
-Swearing is allowed but not excessively. Please refrain from being overly crass as well. We welcome people of all ages on this server but if swearing offends you or you are under 13 you may want to go elsewhere.
-If you are wearing a potentially offensive skin or make an offensive structure/symbol you may receive a warning or in serious cases, a ban. The 'my swastika symbol isn't for nazis. Im a Buddhist' excuse doesn't fly here. Apologies if you are actually a Buddhist but we still don't allow that symbol for the reason above.
-If you use redstone please dont make repeating clocks. This means any circuit that repeats with no off mode, as it can cause lag. Doing this may get you banned.
-Do not type in caps.
-Do not make mob traps/grinders or automatic cactus farms as they cause a lot of lag.


Server Currency:

The currency on this server if your interested in trading is Gunpowder (sulpher) since tnt is banned and its renewable yet somewhat hard to get. The server has a shop located near spawn for all your buying and selling needs.

Some people have shops and trade for things other than GP (gunpowder) so feel free to shop around and ask prices

Guests:

/spawn (go back to spawn)
/sethome (sets your home)
/homedelete (deleted your home)
/home (go to your set home)
/tpa username (sends a request to a person that youd like tp teleport to them)
/tpaccept (accepts a TP request)
/tpdeny (denys a TP request)
/afk (places your status as away from keyboard)
/help (lists the commands)
/list (lists players online)
/mail (opens mail menu)
/msg username message (sends a private message to a user)
/rules (view the rules)
/seen username (tells you when a player was last in game)




Loyal:

All commands that Guests have
/kit (lists kits that are available to Loyals, be sure to have free inventory slots when you use it because you only get to use them once an hour or once a day)
/kit kitname (gives you the kit)
/tpahere username (sends a request to the user that you would like to TP them to your location)
/warp warpname (allows you to use a warp if you have the name of one. Note warps will not be made for you, for some interesting warps check out the board at spawn)


Helper:
/mc (turns a magic carpet on and off)



Donor:

All commands that Loyals have

Donor+:

All commands of Donor
/jumpto (places you to whatever block your crosshair is on)
/kit donordaily (a special donor only kit that you can get once a day)
/mc (places a glass carpet under your feet that lets you fly)


Sponsor:

All commands of Donor+
/kit sponsordaily (a kit of items for sponsors that can be gotten once a day)
/region info regionname (displays info about your protected region. Right click land with wooden sword to get regionname)
/region addmember regionname username (enables a person to build on your land)
/region remmember regionname username (removes a person that was allowed to build in your protected land from the protection so they can no longer build)

VIP

All commands of Donor+
/egod (makes you invincible)
/i itemnumber amount (give yourself items! check here for item dex values. Please not you are ONLY to use this to give yourself items not to stock your shop or chests!)
If you need some small things done with WorldEdit Admins will help you!!
/clearinventory (clears your inventory)

VIP+
All the commands of VIP plus having reserve for the month! No more not being able to get on the server when its full! Plus you get to have 5 permanent warps set!


Mods:

More commands coming soon but for now use this if someone is on and needs a ban and repeated kicking doesn't get your point across:
/togglejail username jail (this places them in jail)
/mute username (this mutes them)



Admins:

/lb rollback player username since 15d area 1000 (this rolls a players actions back. Please do this when you ban someone)



Donations:

Donations are what keeps this server going! You don't have to donate to play but if you are able it is very much appreciated. There are 4 tiers of donations.

Donor: Donating between $1.00 and $4.99 will get your name on the donor wall permanently, a special donor tag and color in chat for a month and a single gift chest full of valuable items!

Donor+: Donating between $5.00 and $9.99 will get you your name on the donor wall permanently, a double chest of valuable items and access for a month to the following: Special donor tag and color in chat, access to the /kit donordaily kit full of awesome things you can get everyday! A magiccarpet so you can fly and /jumpto which places you on far away blocks quickly!

Sponsor: Donating between $10.00 and $14.99 will get you the same as Donor+ plus access to chest protection for a month, protection on a piece of land of your choosing (up to 150 x 150 blocks, sky to bedrock) for a month and /kit sponsordaily which has even more awesome items you can get everyday for a month!

VIP: If you donate over $15.00 not only do you get the Sponsor donation gifts but you get /i and /egod aaaaand Admins will help you with small WorldEdits for a month! Basically V.I.P's get to play this server on creative mode! ;D

VIP+: Donate over 30$ and get all VIP perks + reserve for a month! That means you get get on the server even if it's full!

I'll join, I would like to know about griefing however. I am confused about exactly what it is outside of breaking structures.

xl9: Griefing is destroying or messing up any part of a structure that does not belong to you and/or building on land that belongs to someone else (without their permission). For example: Taking blocks off someone's house, placing blocks on their land or house without permission, pouring water or lava on their structure or land, stealing from them, and other such things. It is called griefing because it causes grief to the person it is done to. So it's best to just be nice and don't mess with things that aren't yours, unless you have permission from the owner.

Yes...the server seems to have crashed. We'll probably have to wait for the admin to restart it.

The server isn't down. Its been staying up well since last night. The person that robbed you was banned and your stuff restored.

I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who's donated! <3

Also I will be hiding easier to find treasure chests throughout the map. The items in these are free to take and they chests will be marked 'Free Treasure!' so you don't accidentally loot someones chest. Post here if you find one!

A griefer came on shortly after you logged off, filled a couple of houses with lava expecting them to burn down and killed a few people/wrecked some chests. His name was nagol22 or something similar. Btw, love the server

I logged on to play and saw him on, vanished and wathed him and saw him grief, I sent him to jail to question him and his dumbass shows me hes fly hacking, haha banned
