Wow.
I'm gonna have to use these in my world. I'm planning on making a huge underground town and stuff.
The step-by-step models are easy to follow, but I'm confused as to some of the materials used.
I'll post my material questions here, so you can just answer in one run, instead of in the individual threads.
1) What are the materials in the Temple? I got the dirt, cobble, furnaces, and smooth halfsteps, but I'm lost as to the others. Are they just different colours of wool?
2) What are the colours of wool in the Crossroads?
3) In the Large Cabin, are the four blocks in the bottom right hand side of the inventory glowstone? If so, where do they go?
Other than that, I love them. They remind me of when I was younger, and I was playing with legos. :biggrin.gif:

Let's suffice to say I don't think using frickin flint and steel is going to light moss on fire...

I'll list them like you would read across a page: left to right, top to bottom.

2) What are the colours of wool in the Crossroads?
Light Blue and Blue wool is used. You can use any colors you like of course. There is just enough room in the crossroads to do some simple symmetric patterns.

Yes, the 4 items in the lower right of the inventory are glowstone. One can be seen in the shot of the upstairs bedroom. Another sits on the wall ledge just inside the front door. Another goes in the empty room in the back where the door to the back deck is, and the last is in the basement crafting room. Of course, you can illuminate the build however you wish :wink.gif:
You can check out the recipes for wool colors (and the dyes needed) here

Could you do a tutorial about a watchtower and a style mine entry ? Thanks in advance .

Thanks! I'll put watchtower on the list. I've got quite the to-do list building (and I like it that way!)

Is there any way i can contribute a design? Because i have a really cool structure, that it would be cool if you made a step-by-step of.
Absolutely! You can pm me some images, send me the world save, or post it as a thread and link me to it. I'm happy to take a look.

Any Chance Of A Step By Step Tutorial For A Cannon Of Some Sort?
Thanks !
I've not delved into cannons at all. I'll put it on the list. In the meantime, if you have a good video or thread to suggest so I can learn, please send it along!

Something I have always wanted to make is a place to keep my woofs. Right now I just keep them in a small area beside my warehouse (it's the exact same as the one you built :biggrin.gif:), but always begin to follow me whenever I attack something. Could you please do a step-by-step on a place to keep my doggies?
I also have an idea for a future addition. How about a tree farm? I have a problem getting lots of wood, the current way I am getting wood is by making a path and having little 1x1x6 holes to my sides. However, trees don't grow as fast as they do with full space.
Loving your style of tutorial. The step by step pictures and ruler makes it so easy to follow. I have built every one so far by following them. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to your next creation!
I've seen videos of cobblestone generators, but they never give good instructions on how to build them. Maybe you'd consider adding a step-by-step of one of those?

It's not an optical illusion, it just looks like one.
I am building a village with inspiration from your cabin's.
But I would like some more guides, even though I know it's time consuming.
My wishes:
Churches in different sizes and themes
Boat dock with the possibility to make it hold several boats
Cottages or small houses in themes you haven't covered yet.
Well
Mine entrance
And what else you might find fun..
Thanks again, and this topic made me create a Minecraft folder in my browser. Just make what ever you FEEL like :-)

I'm by no means an expert, but a good design for a boat dock is using two half-steps surrounded on three sides with wood planks or whatever medium you choose, so when you drive the boat onto the half-steps, it comes out of the water and it doesn't float away. Part of the beauty of this design is that it can be easily tiled to accommodate as many boats as you can throw at it

Can't remember if I commented in this thread yet, but I just wanted to thank you for this amazing collection of tutorials. I have built every single one, and am currently working on a village with several variations of your small cabin. I like how straight-forward and simple the designs are, it leaves plenty of room for alterations which is good for someone like me (lacking in inspiration to start, but well able to get those creative juices flowing with a good guide). Anyways, thanks again and please do keep them coming as often as you are able, I'm having a lot of fun :smile.gif:

This is, in my eyes, a small handbook to creating amazing things. <3
