Hello, this is my first texture pack, and also my 42nd post!  Posted Image

This world belongs to an elusive cat deity. He's watching you plunder his land and he's not amused.

It's a HD texture pack, so to get it to work you will need MCPatcher which can be found here: MCPatcher

Some of the textures might seem unconventional at first, such as the Cobblestone looking like smooth Marble,

if there is something you don't like it is worth checking the alternates folder, many issues are fixed there.

Or you can check out the LoafCraft Customizer (compatible with 1.4, no snapshots).

The customizer is not compatible with all of my files, these missing files are available in a seperate zip file.

See the important notice in my pack on the customizer for details.

I hope you like this pack, but please do not use any of my textures in your own packs without asking first,

and please give me credit when/if permission is given.

And finally someone managed to make me post for the first time, rather than just lurking on these boards.

Looking very sharp. I especially love the little cats heads for the nether swirls/sparks and smoke. (The wife made special note of that.)

Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Boo.

That's one of my favourites.

At first I had no smoke particles as I thought they were ugly. But then I was experimenting with the smoke and noticed it effected other particles too. As soon as I saw what I have named "Kitty Glitter" coming out of my portal I was like "YES!".

For your first pack this is insanely good! :Diamond:
First femineny pack that doesnt look like it was made for/by a 9year old. My girlfriend will love this pack.
Myself, i think the rain and snow looks great! The coloured wool is cool to.
Only issue I have is with the lava, it looks like some kind of custard pudding rather than lava, it fits visually with the rest of the pack but doesn't say deadly molten rock.

Edit: here is a challenge for you (and every tex packer), how about some higher def original clouds?

I was trying my very best not to make this pack too girly because I wanted it to appeal to more people. Not that girly is a bad thing of course, I love the GirlCraft pack. But I love all things pink and fluffy too, so if I wasn't careful it could have ended up being pink overload. In the beginning I even had pink pumpkins. :D

About the lava, I do agree with you a bit on that. It was one of the textures I had the most difficulty with. I spent a few days trying different animations and textures and decided this was the one that looked the least out of place. Some were too light and looked bad in the Nether. Some were too dark and looked ugly in the regular world. Some had really obvious tiling patterns that stuck out a mile. When I'm done with my to do list I will try an alternate lava texture, see how it goes.

I think I'll stick that cloud idea onto my list, else I might forget to try it. xD

Thank you. :iapprove:

More people are looking this up than I expected, because for the first time ever last night Photobuckets bandwidth limit failed me. Had to switch to Imageshack, lol.

My goodness this is gorgeous! <3 It was already a favorite before I even saw the little kitty smoke/portal puffs. Depending on your reaction, I would love to give you the biggest hug I possibly can. x3 (Either that or just say thank you repeatedly until I turn blue from lack of oxygen.)

-Is far more excited about this than she probably should be.-

Ha ha, I really want to know that story now. Curiosity killed the cat.
