Hello,
I want to show you my interpretation of The Reichstag (Germany, Berlin). This project took a lot of my time because of it's size and details. This is not a perfect model and had never had it be!

A few things you should know about my Reichstag project:

- it's 225 blocks length, 250 blocks width and 130 blocks height
- it's 100% handmade (no building features like /fill, no map editors)
- it's 100% builded on default, public server (underd0g's custom map server)
- it's scaled (1 block = 1 meter)
- building was moved 3 times from map to map in OMEN... layer by layer
- it was griefed... many times... regulars were angry because of often backup loading

That...that is beyond awesome. Far surpasses the Notre Dame build someone did awhile back (youtube it). How long did it take?

Is the server_level.dat file available?

I started this project 21.09.2009 and finished it something like a week ago, but I wasn't working on it all the time so it's hard to say exactly how long it took.

server_level is not avalible, but maybe there will be a theme-build server with my Reichstag in it

Honestly, I'm amazed, I think it's totally great, but just one thing irks me.  Why use the tree trunk block for the floors inside?  I would have used the plank block instead, since they flow together way better than the tree blocks.
Any specific reason for the choice?

OMG I was THERE when you started this, and I placed at least 10 blocks helping this.  It was on the front steps extending to the left and right.  I HELPED!

wow that was truly the most epic thing i have ever seen built on minecraft! i've tried making these epic scale buildings but it always fails... but this is... just amazing, i laughed out of amazement
