Hmm... I will see. ;)

I've created the viewer as Windows Forms control. Maybe I will release it just as a control to use in your own application. But I have to finish it first. ;)

Small but really cool. A suggestion tho, would be a good idea to put the Position (& background) selector as toolbar buttons on top, makes for a quicker access. Personally I'd leave the window title constant and put the user/file name instead of your watermarks. Other than that, works great man, props.

You know what would make this EXTREMELY helpful?

If you were ale to load up all the mob models + skins as well. Something like that would be very VERY helpful for people like me trying to make skins for them in photoshop. We can see our edits right on the model instead of loading it in game and going hunting for them.

For some reason, this is a threat for Norton. MinecraftSkinViewer.exe is categorized as "WS.Reputation.1".
I assume I can simply make Norton ignore this file?

I'm going to add this feature. It's quite easy to do, so maybe it will be in version 0.8 beta. B)

Someone found a minor bug. The sides of the torso were swapped, so I made a little update: 0.7_01. And it comes with one new background and position. :SSSS:

Yes yes add mobs! Don't forget wolves, chickens, and nether beasts as well! This would be my top pick for texture editers if it could list mobs, the main thing missing from all editers!

New Version: 0.7_02. Someone told me that if you have .NET Framework 4.0 installed, but no 3.5, program will not run. So I made an upgrade from 3.5 to 4.0. No new features yet. :P

BTW, one of my favourites skin (rendered by Minecraft Skin Viewer):

I fiddle with my skin's pixels a lot in Photoshop and used to use Skin Edit to see the changes be reloading the skin every time I made a change. This is so much easier. Thank you for making this available.

New version coming soon. :P

It will be 0.8, but I have plans for 0.9. I'm going to completely rewrite my software 3D engine to achieve perspective view and eliminate errors like this.
