This mod is for my fellow female minecraft players! But this is not a girls only thing. This mod has the option to turn the player into a female while maintaining the minecraft style. The mod works in Multiplayer. Servers can set genders server-wide.

Info:
Males: Just like normal Minecraft, but with the old hurt sounds!
Females: Are slightly smaller than males, have their own default texture, have their own hurt sound.
Children: Are smaller, and have their own default texture based on gender
Zombies: There are occasional female zombies that are just like the regular ones, they use the female model and have their own default texture
Options: Choose which female model to use for females, turn genders on/off, turn age on/off, turn on/off zombie genders, turn on/off the gender sounds

Installation
0) Back up your .minecraft folder
1) Close Minecraft and Install the Required mods:
• a ) Install Risugami's Mod Loader --OR-- Forge Universal
• b ) Install Divisor's RenderPlayerAPI (See his Instalation Instructions)
• c ) Run Minecraft, test, then close Minecraft
2) Go to your minecraft Folder
3a) If using MinecraftForge: (Video) Place this mod's .zip file into the mods folder
3b) If using ModLoader: (Video) Extract this mod's .zip file into .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar


FAQ:
1) If you saw a message simmilar to '______ did not init'
Please contact Divisor regarding your problem with RenderPlayerAPI

2) If you are hearing the Gender sounds twice
Please see installation steps 3a & 3b.

3) Will other users of the mod see the mod's features even though the server doesn't have it installed?
In order to see the effects this mod adds, you only need the client installed. The server is simply to sync the genders across all clients that have the mod.

4) Does this mod require special skins?
The skin you set on your minecraft profile is not removed by this mod. If a user has a skin, their skin will show. If a user does not have a skin, the default player textures will show based on that player's gender and age settings.

5) If rotations are weird when SmartMoving is installed
I know numerous developers that have this same problem with their renders. All SmartMoving needs to do is to properly update the regular body with the SmartMoving rotation. I've contacted Divisor regarding this issue.

7) java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Can not find necessary constructor with one argument of type 'RenderPlayerAPI' and eventually a second argument of type 'String' in the class
I've contacted Divisor regarind this issue.

• java.lang.NoSuchFieldException: GL_ARB_copy_image
This doesn't cause a crash and continues on without breaking any features. The exception was most likely printed for their own debuging purposes. Nothing is broken. <10:37:18> "LexManos": ya its not a issue

• Where did you get the idea for this mod?
This is the origional mod that adds females/genders children/age into Minecraft. It began in April of 2011 and has continued since.
You can find more information here.

• Why do you still support ModLoader?
As ModLoader is still a thing and hasn't yet died, Gender is designed to support both the ModLoader and MinecraftForge environments. Note that any ModLoader mod can be ran flawlessly in MinecraftForge as-is without any changes to the mod's code or files.

• What is this 'Pair' release?
Pair is what I'm calling my latest release 'style' for Gender. In Pair I have merged the needed MinecraftForge sided Gender code with the ModLoader sided Gender code. Both are in the release. When using ModLoader, it won’t see the MinecraftForge sided Gender code, (which is nice because its only needed when using MinecraftForge). When using MinecraftForge, forge runs the ModLoader sided code with the MinecraftForge sided code.

At the moment i am using a Gaz (invader Zim) skin, will my skin still work if i download yours? like i want to have the avatar, with boobs and stuff and girlie sounds, but i want it with my gaz skin. I dono? Also is this modloader compatable and is there going to be an update for 1.5 which apparently is supposed to be out today?

Your skin will work! But who knows if the skin will line up in the right place for it to look decent.

I'm Very, Very new to mine craft modding... I still need to figure out what the mod loaders do (.class wise) in order to change some things & lines and not others.

That being said, my question its about the mesh itself, how different is it from the original? I mean, to me in the images it just looks like a default complexity but with boobs when women should have a different body complexity than men (A.K.A. they should be tinner than men). I may sound sexist, but if its going to be a standard original mesh but with boobs, then its not that "female" its just the default mesh but with a rectangle on his chest.

My aim is to make it as close to the style that notch would have used. Yes, I could have made it all roundish, but guys aren't square either.
Who knows I might just ease the shoulders a bit... But that's a lot of angle work! So, I'll just draw my line at this for now.
I need to get the mod option done first...then I can perfect things.

Hey, hey... now there's a pretty awesome idea!

Personally, I'll be glad to see the day when this gets made in such a way that a player can actually -choose- the gender of their character, and have it actually affect the body mesh and voice. There's a lot of room in minecraft for character customization... and this just goes to show that it can be pushed even further still.

I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this... watch how things progress.

In the meanwhile, keep up the excellent work! It's very cool to see what people are making of minecraft, every day!

I like what you're doing here.  If I were to suggest anything it'd be to thin the arms a bit.  I use a female skin but the Lou Ferrigno arms bother me more than the voice or even lack of other feminine features.  Assuming this mod works with existing skins I'll definitely be giving it a whirl.

This is a good mod - I won't be using it, but I know there are people who would enjoy this mod.

The only problem I have with this mod is that the skin isn't blocky enough. D: This wasn't a problem with the Charlotte mod (Or the Spider Queen Thingy in Kodaichi's "Two New Insects" thing)

How much blockier do you want it to be, exactly? Look at that girl... she's got no shape BUT block! If someone called her a brick house, it would because she's literally the SHAPE of a BRICK! If someone said she was a Super-Freak, it would be because her DNA is a Quad-Helix Cubic Matrix! If you had a square hole... you could use her for a damn PEG!

Yeesh... it's like if you took a perfect geometric square and said: "Hey, you're not blocky enough! I know, let's make you a CUBE!"
