im new sorry. ive heard you just attack the tnt but in classic it seems to just destroy it. any help is appreciated.

If you load the map in Survival Test (Follow the link in the forum, They use the same format), You will be able to play, from your current point, but with only a few blocks, and TNT will detonate, and, if you wait a while, you'll get some mobs

On creative, TNT doesn't blow up, although there are a lot of servers out there with custom physics that allow you to. (One such server software allowing this is MCZall)

though duly note that tnt acts a lot different in survival than it does in alpha.

On 1.8 you can blow up the TNT if you put laval nextt to it. I know because i've literally just tried it!
