So, I tried to make an iron door but as per the wiki, only 1 lever will work on the door.  What if I want the door closed behind me?  Is tehre a way for me to get out? (minus redstone, 'cuz my building design can't handle it)  Or do I just have to make a second door?  Thx!  :D

I use buttons if I want my door to be openable from both ends.
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink to someone else.

Pressure plates will open the door as long as you stand on it and will close the door 2 seconds after.

Buttons will open the door for about 4 seconds while you run through.
Digging, Digging, Digging then Dieing.
Bugger. The gravity was using HAX.

This is what I use:

:Notch:  :Notch:  :tnt:  :tnt:  :soil:  :soil:  :soil:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:
:cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  :Red:  :Red:  :cobblestone:  :Red:  :Red:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:
:cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  :Red:  :cobblestone:  :--+:  :cobblestone:  :Red:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:
[]  []  :Logs^:  []  :chestfront:  []  :Logs^:  []  :cobblestone:
:cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  :cobblestone:  []  :cobblestone:
[]  []  []  []  :|:  []  []  []  []

:Red: is Redstone dust, :--+: is a Redstone torch,  :Logs^: are pressure plates, and  :|: is a lever.

You must place the door sideways for this to work, so that it is closed when powered and open when not.  It will automatically open when the pressure plates are stepped on, unless the lever is thrown into the down position, in which case it will be locked.  The schematic is the bottom layer, and I usually put two layers of cobblestone on top, the second of which acts as a roof for the "guardhouse."
Ideas I support: Leaf Deterioration Fix, Erosion and Slime: HALF IMPLEMENTED, Shift-Click Shortcuts, Moon Phases, Item Auto-equip
