Okay, it seems I've been getting this sort of problem with my brother too, and I bought the game and downloaded the client, but whenever I launch it , I log in and all, it says done loading, it crashes, and then I get this error report on my desktop (on below).

Here are my specifications

Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Vaio Computer Intel ® Pentium ® 4 CPU 3.20 GHz (decent?) 3.19 GHz, 512 MB of Ram

My computer CAN run Minecraft Alpha on browser mode, so it's not really a video card issue, but its sorta fps laggy, and I really need to be able to use the launcher so it would be a lot faster :S it just sorta crashes..

Here's the error report, if anyone can help, it would be really appreciated. Does Notch know about this?

Go to AMD.com and update video drivers for you ATI card. Might want to do the same with your brother's computer.

It's ati.amd.com, that address doesn't work for some reason. Thanks for helping.

What do you mean it doesn't work? The site doesn't work or updating the drivers? Or you can't find/download the drivers?

when i go to the site "AMD.com" and select my Driver, then click "View Results" it just says Error on page, in the bottom left corner. Nothing happens.

Retry. Might have been a server bug on ATI's side.
