I am very new to modding and I need help with a few things that I cant find 1.7 tutorials on (I have watched all the 1.7.2 modding tutorials on YouTube). I would like to learn how to make a gun that can fire bullets and reload ect. I tried exsparimenting with the item.bow class but I cant get it to work.
The code has been modified, was at least twice this size. That should start you somewhere..

If a mod author does not give their source out, it is technically illegal to decompile and import their source code into your development environment.
There are plenty of gun tutorials online, one is on the MinecraftForge wiki.

RustCore to your main mod item, and you can remove that EnumBulletType parameter, I no longer use it.

ALSO, Add this to the item code! It is used by the renderer to get a custom texture without it being from an item.
