what do you think [for my first actual texture lol]
all black base...
or the alternative, the softer black base. I think the all black makes the circuitry look more vibrant, but with the softer colored center [which is the original cobblestone from soulscribes earlier work] the derezzing effect is able to be seen.
so im not sure which is better....
sort of a side-by-side.
i think im gonna put the two textures together because I cant really decide. so i think im going to make the center of the black block the same as the center of the soft block, so the edges ar still black with the vibrant circuit, but you can still see the derez effect. see how that works, but i really like both the soft and dark versions of them....
I hope you approve of my additions and give me some input.
wether you like or don't like...
or wether they should be used for different blocks instead of the pure diamond and gold blocks.
i think this should be a necessary addition.
I think that the softer base looks better. it has better shading.
Thank u. Adron, we can make a good team. :biggrin.gif:. As far as I know, you can search up some tutorials for Photoshop if you have it; or you can use Gimp, and even Paint to make item sprites. As for the other mobs, I have considered making them hi-rez, but some people like Gunninja like it lower for some reason... that would mean making another download link. :tongue.gif:
I usually don't like higher res mobs because they just look terrible if you can make the rest of the mobs as good as the wolf that would be awesome.
The main key is keeping them simple most of the time high res mobs have weird faces or are just a blurry mess.
That's the one im working on to get it so show up. So far, I have it so that it shows the Rezcraft, but the T is kinda cut off... Maybe ask him to make the T even smaller? The top and bottom get cut off. Working on it tomorrow. I gotta sleep.
Okay... T still needs to be smaller... or make it a different color, and make it smaller to still make it stand out.
This is what I have so far.
It looks like this in game.
Thank you so much for resurrecting this pack! I was actually in the process of doing the same thing you were, you just beat me to it!
And obviously a big thank you to Soulscribe for putting this together in the first place a few months ago. I realize you've got other things you want to put time into, but you did a super awesome job with this one.
I'm currently in the process of building the Grid (all of it), so I'm glad this was made compatible with 1.4 again!
I love what you've done with the pack. Though I have a few personal gripes (same as the original, really. >.>) in order of annoyance.
At night in desert biomes it's very, very, VERY dark, especially when you consider the fact your eyes are adjusting to the ambient light given off by the stars/moon (which is very pretty, by the way...can't remember if it was in the original... >.>) and not the pitch black sand. But I'm likely just one of the few nutters who likes living in the desert. :tongue.gif:
It's rather difficult to tell the difference between dirt and stone when digging underground at minimum needed light levels, something distinctive in one or the other that doesn't make it look horrible would be nice.
Water and lava look very out of place, but I understand that that may be more difficult.

For the dirt and stone, if you have an imaging software, like Photoshop or Gimp, you can brighten up the blocks that you want to be brighter. If you would like, I can upload another download with brighter dirt, stone and cobble. I prefer myself to use the brighter colors, but for the sake of others, I make it dark, so you can change it later if you would like.
wow. im looking at the layout of the armor... and i have no clue what to do first... lol.
how did you make the armor? becuase i have a good idea.
I think that the softer base looks better. it has better shading.
No but really Im loving the remix but I think you should make the dyes all trony :biggrin.gif:
Er... I didn't make the armor... it was there already when i remixed... :biggrin.gif: sorry. lol.

I also have this one with a smaller T behind the letters.

I APPROVE.
working on the scalings! I really wanna keep The 'Tronzler' T in the background lol
This is what I have so far.
