Don't worry, I make worse. Like instead of a direction. How about a nameless map. Just erase the title of the scroll and get the pen/pencil/Writing thingy and write down Nameless map. Hit it with a hammer like in the movies and vuala! A thing that does not have the direction of the named village. But the nameless village that just so happens to be the same thing apparently... Yep... I need a cone of shame too.
ON TOPIC;
Wild, almoat finished with the first part of the map, what the heck is the sick for????
The first part? As in the buildings? Also the stick is just for decoration. Same thing with the torch. (Although the torch will come in handy in the future)
This map is an adventure map. But this one is unlike any other. Mind boggling puzzles, incredible redstone mechanics and alternatives that will blow your mind. This endless journey will make you have to think about how to get to the other side of this wall, how to open these doors, and much more! Your journey begins on a makeshift raft in the middle of a vast ocean with no waves, no fish, just endless ocean. You jump off the raft and find an uninhabited island. The only thing that's on the island is the village, and a few animals. All there is on this ocean is the nameless island, and a large rock island known as The Rock Pillar of Wisdom. What is this you ask? You will find out, I almost guarantee it. Your job is to figure out how you got here, what are you doing here, and how do you get home? That is all I can tell you, for the rest is for you to find out for yourself. If I were to tell you these things, it would take all of the fun away from the map!
Challenge accepted... I think.

Finally finished the map- it was just as difficult as it was fun. It would be a good idea to add the following sentence to the rules: "You can break any block that seems out of the ordinary, with the exception of the gold block by the large dirt structure." It's an important game rule that I didn't find out about until halfway through the map. Otherwise, excellent job!

I'm in a bit of a pickle, I have 1 sand block but i'm not sure what to do with it, I have found "places" that are holes were you drop stuff down (I think) with cactus at the bottom is that where i should drop the sand?

Correct, you are supposed to place the sand in the hole. Where did you find that sand block at so I can help you out?
That was the whole point of the map, for you to figure out for yourself where to go next. What you said was boring, people find to be fun. They find it fun to have to figure out what to do next. Don't think that just because there is no guide on where to go that it is a boring map. Look at my tips that I posted and then tell me what you think if you can figure it out.
I tryed it and raged, but Its really good from the pure goodness
Haha, that was the point of the map! I am glad you raged, though I hope that you can finish the map! I am thinking of making a walkthrough so keep a look out.
