So, how does one go about disabling this mod on a server? It says you can in the OP, but I took a (very) quick glance through the code and there doesn't appear to be anything that creates a log or checks if a server gives permission or not. Just asking, curious about how that part actually works.

Not quite sure of that myself, but bukkit seems to be able to do this kind of thing. For instance buxville.net server is able to block this mod.

Hmm, interesting, I may have to look for the plugin they use. Thanks for the info.

please do upload it to modcenter! xray is a valuable tool to me in SSP since i never really play SMP. I love the ability of finding lava pools without having to worry about falling in them!

java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\Beach_Island\waypoints.dat (The system cannot find the path specified)

java.lang.Exception: Exit value: 1

I got this error and a crash when trying to make a waypoint, I think it's because it's trying to make a waypoints.dat file in the Beach_Island folder (Beach_Island is the name of my map, but not the name of the folder, the folder is called New World).

Yeah once I found out that was what was causing it that's what I did :Portabella: just figured it might be a bug that could be fixed for simplicity, if that's not the case then it's an easy enough workaround so no biggie.

OMG... I never noticed its possible to rename a World :P That explains lots of problems weird are having regarding saving settings and locations.

Going to look into this tonight, thanks for all the info.

First off, I love your mods and have been using them for a little over a week, possibly longer. Secondly, I properly installed BaseClasses, Minimap and Day/Time Counter as well as ModLoader on a fresh bin, but my only problem is that I am unable to display monsters/animals/other players despite having the Show Mobs option set to True. This is in SMP, I haven't tried in SSP yet. Any ideas on how to fix this ?
Taking a break.

Ohhh, sorry I didn't bother reading it because it worked in SMP in 1.3, sorry about that.

Thanks!

Yeah thats what I thought, but I needed to remove it. Because moderators didn't like the fact that it effect SMP.

Any reason why the difficulty mod doesn't save settings?

probably because the World name is different from the save folder name. Rename the folder to the world name. this should fix it for the time being.

Honestly, people are being way too uptight about these x-ray mods. I see what the mod is trying to do here by removing the links, but you have to remember that this guy made these mods for free and plenty of people want to use them. What's wrong with that? Not everyone plays survival SMP and cheats, in fact I would expect that kind of person would just play creative-style servers and /give themselves whatever they need.

Anyways, in the end, I just want my X-Ray :VV:
These are really great mods by the way CJB and I like the settings thing you have.

World name and folder are the same. No idea what's happening... Tried with the latest update but still won't save...

Hi, I'm sorry I use a translator.

I love the Day/Time mod, but, it is possible to add an option to add hours in "settings.properties" ? because the time has 2 hours of delay of my server time, I don't understand.

Thanks
