As this is still in the early stages of development, I haven't decided on a name yet, if you have any suggestiong on what to call this pack, please leave them below.

Now, onto the pack, I'm here with a new set of textures, based off of some of the more popular pixel art packs such as Mist, Pixel Perfection, Deferia and Chivalry. These packs are very similar in the theme which they are set upon.
I aim towards creating an atmosphere of gloominess, yet deliver a calm experience to the end user. Birch forests are an autum-like biome, with orange-y grass, and yellow leaves on the trees. Roofed forests are a dark, eerie biome where only the shadiest of residents dwell, oceans house only the ugliest creatures of them all, whilst Pine forests have a mucky feel, Plains will be vast meadows where the horses prance along the horizon when deep in the nether, a dark evil stirs.

So basically that explains the whole feel of the pack, and what is to come.

This is really nice! You've got some nice textures going there. I think my only gripe is the chest. I kind of feel the metal straps aren't defined enough from the wood.

Thanks! I was told about the chest on the TAU, but I just can't get it to look right.
What you've done so far is looking really nice; however the stone bricks look a little flat. I persoally think they should be slightly rounded at the corners, and have stronger highlights towards the top (but keep the thing with the darker colours under the highlights, that looks good).

That was literally what I've been working on today, as well as dirt, grass and stone.
New blocks. Pumpkin and Jack o' lanterns! I also retextured the default skin to have a pumpkin head, with the original head on a hat layer-I know this will be rendered useless after 1.8, but still fun to use. I also tried working on the grass and dirt, which still have some errors to fix.
I like a lot of the new stuff, and your ores are terrific. However, I don't really like your emerald and lapis blocks, they just have way too much dithering. The cactus also looks quite odd with that white highlight.

Well, I'm still trying to get a specific style for the cactus, but I had a go before at new ore blocks:
The emerald and lapis probably will change, but I like the style of the lapis, so a bit of polishing up should fix it.

The crack in the pumpkin dissappeared a while ago.
Nether quartz was testing, and was made before the new ores I added in.
I actually quite like the pinkish nether, and plus, it's part of the palette.
Same with the glowstone, I like looking at sharp glowstone, and not bubbly types.

since you don't actually smelt the gold to make one solid block, stacking ingots together to make a block makes more sense.
And why would that be?
