I have downloaded but i dont know how to run the program and play.
What do i do?
unzip the file and put the folder called "Desert Adventure" inside C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves
start the game and the map should be in your map list in singleplayer

Can you make the map a little bigger? Can you double it at least? I want to use this map for my server and it is kinda small.
feel free to do it yourself

What you do is this:
1. fly around in a square around the map (keep looking at your coordinates)
2. open the map in MCedit and look for any missing chunks. if there are any go back to minecraft and fly to those positions to create more random terrain
3. select all the new areas (do not select anything underground or else dirt and water will disappear there as well) and replace dirt/grass by sand. after that replace all leaves/trees/flowers/reeds/water by air.
4. if you feel like it add some oases manually.

Amazing map, could use some more hidden items. All in all, it's great.
there are still randomly generated dungeons right? I didn't found any yet though.
I guess I could create some extra big caves with tnt and add hidden chests (also to allow players to get some more food). But I can't find the time at the moment. feel free to do it yourself though. if you do it give me the link and i'll add it to the 1st post.

Nice map. downloading now.
Might I suggest using hunger mods though? Might add to the game.
I do have experience about hunger mods. Do you have a link for the download? I might add it as a suggestion since there isn't so much food around the map.
