I'm not sure some one has already done this, but I just thought this was REALLY useful for helping you create proper, color coordinated  MOTD, etc.

edit:

Obviously, you would use each code in your .yml without the # parameter; like so:
example:
# The message of the day, displayed on connect and by typing /motd.
motd:
  - '&7Welcome, &6{PLAYER}&7!'
  - '&7Type &6/help&7 for a list of commands.'
  - '&7Type &6/rules&7 because you will need to read &6ALL&7 the rules.'
  - '&7Currently online: {PLAYERLIST}'

# Colors Table! (by jeffreylec)
#&0 - black
#&1 - dark blue
#&2 - dark green
#&3 - teal
#&4 - dark red
#&5 - dark purple
#&6 - orange
#&7 - light gray
#&8 - dark gray
#&9 - light blue
#&a - light green
#&b - cyan
#&c - light red
#&d - light purple
#&e - yellow
#&f - white

Some plugins also offer bold, underline, italics and code(?). You may want to add a bit of information about them for those who may have them. These are:

&o - Italics
&l - Bold
&n - Underline
&k - Code

I remember Keystone - I'm not quite sure what you're asking. The other colour codes should work as normal if you have plugins such as EssentialsChat installed, just use &a-f or &0-9. For example, "&aThis is light green!", or "&3This is teal!".
