Right now, I just wonder why the sign is sayin not enough resources when the other signs say there is enough...
Any ideas?
I found out the source of this problem before, check out the building type and look it up on the wiki then be sure the town has enough resources for it, there isn't enough room on the sign for all the material types
Any way to check what quest you're on/the name of the person we need to deliver to? And, also, Religious Hamlets for the Norman culture don't seem to spawn anymore for my bourgs, even on a flat-grass map.
It's quite possible. Risugami's Armor Stand mod already has the code to put a 'statue' of the player up. Desaturating a png file at runtime should be easy by comparison.
lol later I changed my considering if it was possible to realizing it is definitely possible
It is very hard just to find a norman village all i can finding is Mayan villages this could be a bug or im not seraching enough Can someone give me a tip? on where Norman villages spawn like do they spawn on the Extreme Hill Biome Taiaga Biomes Plains Biome
EDIT:Never mind just found one when i spawend in a new map :biggrin.gif:
notch Markus Persson
Aaaand now the sun rises in the east. #breakallthesunrises
Well, maybe that will finally settled the debate on where "North" should be :wink.gif:

No, it's in the config file, like all Millénaire settings.

Ah, I see! Looks like the new config file wasn't packaged. Here is what it should look like:
//Game language
//value has to be one of the directory name in languages/
//Main game language, used when available:
language=english
//Secondary game language, used when the main is not available
//It is recommended to pick either English or French as those two are the ones I maintain myself
//and are so guarrenteed to contain all the text
fallback_language=french
//Config
//Keys to use for the village and quest listings
village_list_key=V
quest_list_key=M
//Gameplay
min_village_distance=600
//warning: increasing this will cause major lag on slower computers:
village_radius=50
min_distance_between_buildings=5
//setting this to false will stop new villages from being generated, unless you toggle it back for a specific world by pressing ctrl-shift-G (left ctrl and shift)
generate_villages=true
//display names, occupations and current task above villagers' heads:
display_names=true
villagers_names_distance=20
//distance from the player up to which villages stay active:
active_radius=300
//Lone buildings
generate_lone_buildings=true
//Min distance between a lone building and a village
min_village_lonebuilding_distance=300
//Min distance between two lone buildings
min_lonebuilding_distance=600
//Extra
//whether to regenerate the colour sheet PNG at startup (useful if you are adding blocks to blocklist.txt)
generate_colour_chart=false
//whether to regenerate resources used.txt at start (useful if you want the info for custom buildings you are adding)
generate_building_res=false
//whether to generate a list of gaps found between your main language and your fallback language. Mainly intended for translators.
generate_translation_gap=false

...Seriously though, if you're trying to suggest something along the lines of "you should totally have villages of other cultures wage war on each other!", you really ought to use more than ONE WORD to express it.
Also, suggestions for the mod go on the 'suggestions' part of the wiki, not here.
i have open 6 world now, and if i click V than i get 6 times
´no known village closer than 2 km. keep searching´
but at 1.5.1 if i open a world than is there always a village around you.
is that change?
Mojang changed the coding for biomes in the latter versions. Specifically, they're MUCH larger! If you're having trouble finding a village, make sure you are not in an area with lots of tall mountains, or an ocean biome with lots of water and a few islands dotted around. Villages won't spawn there.
I think there are plenty of cultures being made by fans already? Why, what culture did you have in mind?
Increasing the radius would still help though
So far we have Arabs (I'm not sure at which point in development this is; the thread seems to still be in the "Which Arabic civilization should we do" stage), Heian Japanese (Villager skins are already in the rar, but the official thread hasn't been updated for a while; I can only assume the Japanese fans have been collaborating with Kinniken on this or working on their own forums and submitting the work to him), an Inuit culture (you're around halfway done, right Felinoel?), and a Byzantine village (up on the Millenaire Library, and being regularly updated by Ticlon). There was also a Viking village, but I can't really count it because the one upload the creator did was an incorrectly pathed mediafire link so nobody could try it out, and he hasn't posted in his thread in a long time.
Oh, there's also the Imaginations pack by MinerMiah, a fantasy-based add-on for Millenaire, updated regularly and very creative. So in total, that's 6 different cultures, not counting the extra buildings designed for specific, pre-existing cultures, like the Norman Walled Town or Werzieq's Building Pack.

None yet

That is very odd, are you getting anything in your error log? Who are you going to to trade with? What happens when you right click a town leader?
lol so THAT is what all that covert French speaking was about o.o
Bah, sanity is overrated anyways
Hit it repeatedly maybe?
It is random and you weren't very lucky it seems

did you see his map? is half water...
Both would be fine?

How?
I haven't checked but I assumed it was the way you normally change keys?

Ok, but how do you know what the setting is?
The config.txt in the Millenaire folder hasn't been changed since august. How do I know what these new config lines are?
Cautiously?

Sometimes using the village map freezes the game for me. or gives massive lag.

And rumors of wars.
The End is nigh!

As you can see it says I have all the resources on the bottom, but the top part says Lacking Resources.
Hmm yes it is, is there any way to check what resources that one needs? Also how would they run out of resources on a previous project anyways?
Edit: Apparently a 4th log out fixed the progress of the other building so it seems to be working now.
