The Temple of the Gods

Jack Spades is an adventurer that recently
found a hidden map showing the location of
the Temple of The Gods somewhere in Egypt.

He decided to find the temple and the treasure of Horus which is hidden inside the temple.

He led an expedition through the desert and after
loosing the entire team in the heat of the desert,
Jack was able to find the temple.

Will he be able to find the gold?
And will the temple allow him to?

This map was made by me and my friend XGLDF.
It started out to be a constructive map, with no ideas of releasing it as an adventure map. We did not use ANY cheats at all during the process of this map! Which means; you can make maps without giving yourself unlimited items. Hope you enjoy it!

Scoring system:

You will collect the gold of Horus. They are hidden by chests or alike.
When you've finished the game, please response to this thread and let us know how many you found during your adventure, through The Temple of the Gods!

- You're not allowed to craft at all!
- You're not allowed to build anything unless you're supposed to!
- You're not allowed to dig or destroy anything unless you're supposed to!
- You're not allowed to use Third Party Programs!
- You can only use items or materials given from chests!
- You must play in Peaceful-mode! (Since there should be no monsters!)

Please, give it a chance. We've been working our asses due to the no-cheating part. And I, somehow blew up that huge head by mistake to later on make it all over.

Couldn't figure out the switch of ma'at. searched the entire room, not a single button, toggle or pressure plate. went outside, no clues to help. broke down the door, continuing.

edit: in the room with all the pressure plates, there's no way to keep the button down and run through the door. the brick is NOT heavy enough to hold down the switch.

I found 19 :GoldBar:s. Overall I enjoyed it. The puzzles weren't too difficult to get stuck on, so it kept the flow of the level actually pretty good! I personally liked the minecart ride through the depths of the temple with the lava; I'm fairly sure that's where my last one is at.

There's no need for clues. The switch Is there and it's not to hidden either. Remember to not just look left and right, but up and down

And in the room with the pressure plates, you're not supposed to use anything from the chests. There's just enough time!

No, it says something like;
"This piece of gold was easy to find, but you'll never.."
".. find the other 19."

Which means that there are 20;
the one you just found and the 19 upcoming ones.

Very fun map! Not to simple or too difficult. Got 16 gold on my first run and I'll do another run to see if I can find all 20. I hope you make another one because this one was great.

it was tricky at some parts (hates the cactus part) but it was rly good first try all the gold i even recorded it uploading it to youtube right now ... it will be seperated into parts
