Here is a new T FlipFlop design I designed(with help from TaviRider). Very small and very easy to build.
Edit: Thanks to zhyrek and TaviRider for the improvements below.
Video Demonstration:
EDIT: Thanks to zhyrek for pointing out the one I thought was 4x5x3 can be easily turned into 4x5x2 as shown below:
EDIT: Thanks to TaviRider for pointing out that if you have limit framerate on, it won't work unless you add a repeater as shown below. This version works in both modes:
Here's it one smaller, the missing spaces are where the repeaters go :biggrin.gif:
That's the second one in my video. It's smaller but 3 tall. So....
Its actually not 3 tall, the blocks are built on level 2, just like the redstone :biggrin.gif:
Redstone is placed on the blocks that are on lvl 2.
That means that you CAN'T place anything on lvl 3, but only lvl 4.
Since you can't place blocks on lvl 3, it takes 3 spaces UP which makes it 3 high.
Count redstone as a whole block since it does take so much space. You just can't see it.

wouldn't you then want to count the blocks under it, and to the sides? as you can't place redstone there either :biggrin.gif:

Ahh.. I see what you did there. Nice! Not sure why I wanted to go up on that one block. Thanks for pointing that out. I can't believe I missed that one! :tongue.gif:

You got a point there, but I don't count the blocks below it since you always have to place it on something.
This 4x6x2 is only 2 high since it's this:
Or
Where is r.torch while is restone.
The other concept I was talking about was the other on his video which as parts like this:
Which make it 3.
You need 3 spaces in order to make it.
But my other point (the one that says that the picture takes 3 hight) is wrong. I didn't take a good look at the picture, and now when I've found a way to reduce the size of it, I noticed that this picture is what I've made. Gonna take a SS and post it to show it's just 2 high and that it's smaller the OP's gate.

I didn't look at his schematic close enough and it's true that while his is very similar to my alternate design, his is really 2 high. I put a SS on the OP.

Thanks for that! :biggrin.gif:
Absolutely had no idea why the 4x6 one would work for me, but the 4x5 would not (even though it SHOULD!)
A design as awesome as this one belongs in the Redstone Forum, I dare say! I had to root around for a while to find it and ended up locating this thread through the Youtube video.

Cube Craft, a simple pack by me!
Ya, that's cool and all, but mine's smaller. :tongue.gif: ...actually that is pretty cool.
Yeah I like your because of the smallness so I might use it it in some designs thanks

Gonna use this one on my projects.
