This is Vswe's (author of Steve's Carts 2) entry for ModJam 3 (a 4 day long mod making competition). This mod allows you to move items between different inventories (machines and storage blocks) by specifying it using commands in a flow chart like way. One simply places a Machine Inventor Manager block connected to inventories (directly or through cables) and then specify the commands. The commands are simple to use but can also be set up in very advanced ways to make advanced instructions. Check the spoiler below for some example screenshots as well as the video below. The video explains all features (from basic ones to advanced ones) that the mod contains.

You always have great mods.. Great work on this one.

Just one thing i personally think is your gui's are always so big and ugly they take up so much space .. Wish there were smaller.

I disagree with you. I know everyone have their own preferences in look and aesthetic but a node based gui is handy if you do complex stuff and want to visualize it not like layer based ui that might be good for standard stuff with not many options to a layer. If you are into digital compositing you might compare after effects with fume and you might understand. They might not look fancy but they are practical

And Vswe I'm pretty sure you will be under the top 3 of modjam. Looking forward for the ideas you might still want to add maybe. And glad i could follow the process of developing this awesome mod on your stream. Hope we can see more of your courses in the future.

I get this crash when I right-click the inventory manager block, its an issue with the GUI and NEI from the looks of it. http://pastebin.com/u1QvXDSN

Good work, Vswe.  I like this a lot.  A node based visual scripting system has a huge amount of potential.  Not to mention very impressive getting something like this written for ModJam!

Ahhhh get out of my head!!! Seriously I had a surprisingly similar idea. :P
Not kidding though. But my version was way way to complicated. :/

Pretty powerful, awesome work for such a short amount of time!
Not sure if I'll use it, tho, because it's too powerful and abstract for our type of gameplay.

A suggestion, maybe make the cables look less blocky and more like cables.
I was thinking of the way how Buildcraft or TE3 pipes look and work.
Also, a way to hide them (Painting, covering with Facades like in BC, hide it in CF-Foam like in IC2, ...).
The only true way to play Minecraft is multiplayer!

This looks nice. I'll be using this from now on, I think!
