Lovely, I like the interior stuff like the wooden planks, book shelves etc, but the stone isn't quite right for my town I'm making :c

Why do all the real quality texture packs go unnoticed amongst all the boring HD/Simple/Doku/REMIX packs? This community is ridiculous. Excellent work, hope to see more done on this.

Oh trust me, they don't go unnoticed. It can just take a while what with all the um... lets just be nice and say 'less experienced' artists clamoring for attention. There is a LOT more activity here than there used to be so it can be a bit hard to sift through it all.

Anyway, back on topic...

This is quite good, color me impressed.
I think I am in love with those yellow flowers.

This seems excellent, I think I have a new favorite texturepack! I can see that you took inspiration from Eld's Pack. Oh, and it seems the pine is from Jolicraft. Correct me if I am wrong, anyways, this actually is really great! I'm probably gonna use it later. The skull on the bookshelf is a nice touch.

Thanks for the comments!

All the textures were made from scratch. Eldpack and Jolicraft are among my favorites though, so some subconsious inspiration may have seeped into the pack. :D I don't think my pine looks very much like Jolicraft when you compare them side by side, but they do have a similar concept with the "chunky" bark.

I suggest that the ghast could be a bunch of faces stitched together. And on the ghast_fire their eyes and mouths could glow.

LOVE this! Just started a new ab spawn seed and this is perfect for my builds!! I haven't noticed a single thing I would change. Most packs are way too simple and others are way too fussy....wow, starting to sound like goldilocks lol. Thank you so much for sharing, your work is amazing.

I normally won't use a pack without GUI/Mobs/Icons reskinned, but this pack is so great I've made an exception. :Green:

I look forward to the finished version!

I've been working on the hud and some icons. Nothing big enough for a release yet, but I just wanted to show that I've been doing... stuff. :)

I did a couple of more items than shown here, but they didn't fit in the quickbar. XD

The GUI and items are looking great! I can't wait to see it when it's all finished. :)

After having used the pack for a day or two, here are some random thoughts I have on it:

1. Yours is only the second pack I've used that has done this, but I love it when packs give natural/smooth stone a little color, rather than just plain grey. The smooth stone in this pack is my favorite.

2. The sun and moon are also among the best I've seen in any pack yet.

3. Will the finished version have a custom water/lava? I can understand if you don't want to include it so as not to require the HD texture fix, and I'd just use the HD Texture Fix on another pack to use their water and then pick your pack in the Texture Packs options menu thingy, but I would certainly love to see what you'd do with it!

Again, thanks for the great pack, and I am greatly looking forward to its completion! :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond:
