Hello fellow minecrafters!

I, Tombenpotter, am here to present Electro-Magic Tools, an IC2 Experimental addon I made.
Now, you will probably wonder what it is. Well, the answer would be simple : look in the Book. And by book, I mean Thaumonomicon!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it right! My addon is not only relying on IndusctrialCraft 2, but also works, and needs Thaumcraft 4!

Due to Thaumcraft's most extensive information existing ingame, and its nature, I am only going to provide some teasers. However, for people who absolutely want to know what is in my mod, I shall also give a link to some more pictures.

Remember that my mod is a Thaumcraft 4 addon, so if you want to keep some mystery and not spoil all of its contents, do NOT go look there!

Hmm I'm not sure what you mean ? Like an electric machine that recharges aspects while eating EU ?

Yes, but it needs to be a very good research. So maybe be do a infusion crafting involving both IC2 and TC4 Items, and eats lots of EU.
But seriously, I recommend the compatibility with RedFlux from Thermal Expansion. (Lots of mods are moving onto RF as there power source)

I think this could be an awesome idea. I will have an eye on this mod :)

But I won't recommend moving from IC2 to TE3 power usage as suggested above. You could add that as additional content if you wish.
IC2 is still a cool mod and I am glad for such an crossover addon

That sounds cool, 'Essentia Generator' ;)

There's an MJ one in the Advanced Thaumaturgy mod, that said it'd be nice to have one that does EUs or RF.

I think a laserfocus would be a great idea.

I know KingLemming wants to add an essentia dynamo so I won't do that :/

I think that's a good idea, and the ic2 team didn't say anything about that, so I'll see what I can do!

Wow, this has potential!
With Thaumcraft and IC being the two mods I use the most, it would be nice to see them interact!
I didn't try your mod yet, so I don't really know what the new thaumium tools do, but I'll definitely do it.
Have you thought about nuclear reactors too? A few magical vents or condensators for those of us who don't have Gregtech would be awesome!

If you plan to add an Essentia Generator, it should run on different essentia at different efficiencies. Obviously potentia would be the best, with ignis not far behind. Maybe using perditio would produce a lot of power but has a chance to break the generator.

I will definitely be adding this to my RR install.
