I would like to offer my topic of "Mob Skin Templates" to help others in making mob skins.
I have just asked for it to be moved from Modding Discussion to Texture Discussion so it will be in the right place (not sure if that will change the link though.)
I am currently reworking it to include PDN and PSD files and other information too.
Also, I have done the research to find where the textures for the fences, buttons, switches and other item get their texture from (yes, terrain.png, but the specific pixel ranges.) Will post that soon in a new topic.

The "x" (e.g. 16x, 32x, etc) is a bit superfluous, no? It's already implied.

It should be mandatory to include a link that isn't an ad link.

can we get some more rules for adfly links becuse today alone I have seen FIVE different posts with ether single file adfly links or partial texture packs that would have taken 5 minutes to do. so can we have something that limits what adfly or other similar services can be linked to for texture packs or other sections because you should not have to wait for single file downloads thats just crazy because then where is the line for these kind of links?

screenshots are mandatory for a reason. if it looks like crap, don't click the download link. As far as single file links go, if the artist has only edited say the terrain.png and that is the extent of their work they should very well be entitled to make a little income from said work. if what they did is crap, they will never make anything from it because nobody will download it. (and then they disappear)

I meant like if they only edited <texture pack name here>/mobs/spider.png or all the basic mobs like really small stuff

Alot of you're definitions include the word you are defining, and saying...
"If you don't like them, don't post."
Stops packs from improving.

I really wish people would take the time to read this thread. There has been quite a few useless Texture Pack threads being created without the proper formatting.
