I am taking the base tileset from RPG Maker VX and trying my hand at putting it into Minecraft. Each tile is 32x32 pixels.

I plan to replace the rock texture to something better.

Should I keep going?

Only textures I have a problem with are the stone, (which you said you'd replace anyway) and the crafting table.

Apart from that, it looks pretty good, and it's an interesting idea.

The rocks look awful, but it looks decent otherwise.

Hah, stole my idea (just kidding)
I was working on an rpgmaker 2k3 skin.  But this looks better already.  Keep up the good work.  Might just inspire me to finish mine :3
Get Notch to program this!  It will make things SO much cooler and more customizeable in Minecraft!

Why did I know this would happen one day?

Oh RPGMaker2000, you and your silly switch antics haunt me yet again. I hope Don Miguel is pleased with himself.

If you can sharped up some of those textures this will look pretty nice. The tree looks kind of weak, and as others have noticed the stone look horrible. Aside from that, I'm digging the other textures.

I think the tree texture is pretty weak too. >.>

The first rock texture is now longer in. Look at the second batch of screens.

I'm still not sure about the crafting table. The rest is awesome though.

Is there going to be an items.png?

I'm going to go make an RPG Maker 2000 or 2003 texture pack and none of you can stop me.

Yeah, VX isn't the greatest but I think it does have the nicest tilesets.

Looks nice :) But I don't like hi-res texture packs... They kind of ruin the 8-bit of minecraft.

Cobblestone still looks flat and uninteresting, and the trees share a similar problem. But my god that beautiful water.

I'm usually not a fan of bumping old topics, but this has some of the best ore textures I've seen yet. I still think the dirt, cobblestone (regular) and gravel could use some work.
