The Official mcserverlist.net Mod
Thanks for over 4,000 downloads everyone!

Updated for 1.5_01! Download Version 0.3 now!

Now with full Windows support

Today I'm proud to release (on behalf of WedTM and mcserverlist.net) the official mcserverlist.net mod.

It modifies the the "Multiplayer" menu in game to provide a plethora of options normally not found in a vanilla client.

There are two screens, Recents and Top Servers. The top servers screen pulls the top 100 servers from mcserverlist.net every time you launch the client. The recents screen displays your recent servers you have connected to.

To manage recent servers, simply select a server and click "Edit".

You can still enter IPs manually, but this process makes it a-lot faster. Hope you enjoy the mod!

I've wanted this sort of functionality for SOOO long!  THANK YOU!

Edit:  Works on a fresh Minecraft.jar

It is incompatible with one or more of my mods which include: Modloaderv5, hd texture fix, zans minimap, and improved chat.

Edit2: Confirmed it is not compatible with the HD texture fix.  If I install hd texture first, the game black screens.  If I install the serverlist mod first, HD texture fix breaks the mod and the game acts like it isn't installed at all.

Click download.
Unzip the zip file.
There is a ReadMe.txt right there.

Hey, I just downloaded the whole thing and the readmes aren't exactly helpful (If you can't find them they are inside the folders)

You also have MAC folder and an Apple foldier, Apple is the company, Mac is the product I believe, unless you named the folders wrong (or I missed something, which is entirely possible), anyhow if instead of writing one line of text in the readme.txt files try hitting the enter key every now and then to get it so it looks like

Just trying to suggest a way to help is all, not trying to bash.

I have another friend who uses that mod and he says it works fine. Not sure what your problem is.

Well there's nothing else to get in the way.  I used a fresh jar, the latest hd texture fix, and this mod.  Is your friend using all the options in HD texture?  Does he have an HD font too?  I do.

The recent thing isnt working to well for me. I have the tabs and everything, but when i exit out and log back in there is no history. Is that normal? I got Modloader v4, and the xray 11.

Me? Of course i closed Minecraft. Did you even read my problem?
My problem it that there are no recent servers.The most popular tab works fine (other than that i cant press edit) but there is nothing in the recent tab even though i logged into 3 different servers.

EDIT: Snooping around in my bin folder i found the recentservers folder. There are the servers i went on but they are all different types of files. And they also dont show up in game. What should i do?
I have a ORG file, a 240 FILE, a 33 FILE, and a 33 FILE again. Are they supposed to be different?

EDIT: Just found out. The end of the servers ip makes it the file it is.
Example: Lets say blahblahblah.com.97 is a server. It would be a 97 file.
Or minecraft.net.net would be a NET file.
What file are they supposed to be?
